އޭ موسى ގެފާނެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައި އެވަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

and what is that in your right hand, o moses?"
އޭ موسى ގެފާނެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައި އެވަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

"what do you have in your right hand, moses?"
އޭ موسى ގެފާނެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައި އެވަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

“and what is this in your right hand, o moosa?”
އޭ موسى ގެފާނެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައި އެވަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

the lord asked, "moses, what is in your right hand?"
އޭ موسى ގެފާނެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައި އެވަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

"and what is that in your right hand, o musa (moses)?"
އޭ موسى ގެފާނެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައި އެވަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned. and he forgiveth much.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖެހޭހާ مصيبة އެއް ޖެހެނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަތްތަކުން ހޯދިކަންތަކުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ގިނަފާފަތައް عفو ކުރައްވަތެވެ.

[to sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups?
ފަހެ، كافر ވިމީހުން (ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ) ކަނާތްފަރާތުގައްޔާއި، ވާތްފަރާތުގައި ބައިބަޔަށް (އިށީނދެ) ތިބެން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް ދިޔުމަށް އަވަސްވެގަންނަނީ ކީއްވެހެއްޔެވެ؟

say a supererogatory prayer at the hour of the first watch: your lord may raise you to a most exalted station.
އަދި (فرض ފަސްނަމާދުގެ އިތުރަށް) ކަލޭގެފާނަށް خاص ނަމާދެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި، ރޭގަނޑުގެ ބައެއްގައި އެ قرآن ކިޔަވައިވިދާޅުވެ، تهجّد ނަމާދު ކުރައްވާށެވެ! އެކަމުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ، حمد ލިބިގެންވާ مقام އަކަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ފޮނުއްވައިފާހުށްޓެވެ!

and you did not recite before it any book, nor did you transcribe one with your right hand, for then could those who say untrue things have doubted.
އަދި އޭގެކުރިން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއްވެސް ފޮތެއް ކިޔަވައިވިދާޅުވެއެއް ނޫޅުއްވަމުއެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަތްޕުޅުން އެއްވެސް ފޮތެއް ނުލިޔުއްވަމުއެވެ. އެކަން އެހެންވީނަމަ، كافر ން شك ކުރީހެވެ.

never before did you recited any book, or inscribe it with your right hand. if you had done so, those who follow falsehood would have doubted.
އަދި އޭގެކުރިން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއްވެސް ފޮތެއް ކިޔަވައިވިދާޅުވެއެއް ނޫޅުއްވަމުއެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަތްޕުޅުން އެއްވެސް ފޮތެއް ނުލިޔުއްވަމުއެވެ. އެކަން އެހެންވީނަމަ، كافر ން شك ކުރީހެވެ.

and throw down what is in your right hand; it will swallow up all that they have wrought. they have wrought only a magician's stratagem.
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައިވާ އެތި (އެބަހީ: އަސާ) އެއްލަވާށެވެ! އޭރުން، އެ އަސާ އެއުރެން ހެދި ތަކެތި ކައި، ދިރުވާލައިފާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ހެދި އެއްޗެހި ވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ (ހަމައެކަނި) ޖާދޫގަރުންގެ މަކަރު ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ޖާދޫގަރު ކޮންމެ އެއްޗެއް ގެނައިކަމުގައިވިޔަސް، އޭނާއަކަށް ކާމިޔާބެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

and you did not recite before it any scripture, nor did you inscribe one with your right hand. otherwise the falsifiers would have had [cause for] doubt.
އަދި އޭގެކުރިން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއްވެސް ފޮތެއް ކިޔަވައިވިދާޅުވެއެއް ނޫޅުއްވަމުއެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަތްޕުޅުން އެއްވެސް ފޮތެއް ނުލިޔުއްވަމުއެވެ. އެކަން އެހެންވީނަމަ، كافر ން شك ކުރީހެވެ.

and unto each we have appointed heirs of that which parents and near kindred leave; and as for those with whom your right hands have made a covenant, give them their due. lo!
މަައިންބަފައިންނާއި، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުން ދޫކޮށްފައިވާ މުދަލުން ވާރުތަވެގެން ލިބޭނެ ބަޔަކު، ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށްމެ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި، މުދަލުން ވާރުތަވުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން عهد ވެ، އެއްބަސްވެފައިވާ މީހުންނަށް އެއުރެންގެ ބައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދޭށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެ ކަމެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ހެކިވެ ވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

and cast down what is in your right hand; it shall devour what they have wrought; they have wrought only the plan of a magician, and the magician shall not be successful wheresoever he may come from.
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައިވާ އެތި (އެބަހީ: އަސާ) އެއްލަވާށެވެ! އޭރުން، އެ އަސާ އެއުރެން ހެދި ތަކެތި ކައި، ދިރުވާލައިފާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ހެދި އެއްޗެހި ވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ (ހަމައެކަނި) ޖާދޫގަރުންގެ މަކަރު ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ޖާދޫގަރު ކޮންމެ އެއްޗެއް ގެނައިކަމުގައިވިޔަސް، އޭނާއަކަށް ކާމިޔާބެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

and throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have crafted. what they have crafted is but the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is."
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަނާތްޕުޅުގައިވާ އެތި (އެބަހީ: އަސާ) އެއްލަވާށެވެ! އޭރުން، އެ އަސާ އެއުރެން ހެދި ތަކެތި ކައި، ދިރުވާލައިފާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ހެދި އެއްޗެހި ވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ (ހަމައެކަނި) ޖާދޫގަރުންގެ މަކަރު ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ޖާދޫގަރު ކޮންމެ އެއްޗެއް ގެނައިކަމުގައިވިޔަސް، އޭނާއަކަށް ކާމިޔާބެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what we have provided for you so that you are equal therein would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]? thus do we detail the verses for a people who use reason.
އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نفس ތަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް مثال އެއް ޖެއްސެވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެއްވި ތަކެތީގައި ބައިވެރިވާ ބަޔަކު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަޅުންގެ ތެރެއިން ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަމުގައި ހަމަހަމަވެގެންވޭ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އެއްބަޔަކު އަނެއްބަޔަކަށް ބިރުގަންނަ ފަދައިން، އެއުރެންދެކެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިރުގަންނަމު ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ވިސްނާބަޔަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް تفصيل ކޮށްދެއްވަނީ އެފަދައިންނެވެ.

and also forbidden are the wedded among women, save those whom your right hands own allah's rescript for you. and allowed unto you is whatsoever is beyond that, so that ye may seek them with your substances as properly wedded men, not as fornicators.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ އަޅު އަންހެނުން ފިޔަވައި، އަންހެނުންގެ ތެރެއިން ކާވެނީގެ ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބި (މީހުންނާ އިނދެގެން) ތިބި އަންހެނުންވެސް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް حرام ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. (އެއީ) اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައި ލިޔުއްވާފައިވާ ގޮތެވެ. ކާވެނީގެ ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބޭގޮތުގައި، އަދި، ޒިނޭނުކުރާ ގޮތުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މުދަލުން ކާވެނީގެ ރަން ދީގެން، އެނޫން އަންހެނުންނާ އިނުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ހުއްދަކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާވެނިކޮށް އެކަމުގެ އުފާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ލިބިގަތް ބަޔަކަށް ރަނުގެ ގޮތުގައި އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވާފައިވާ އުޖޫރަ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ދޭށެވެ! ރަން ކަނޑައެޅުމަށްފަހު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދެފަރާތް ރުހި އެއްބަސްވީ ގޮތަކާމެދު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއްނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ حكيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

and worship allah and associate not aught with him; and unto parents show kindness, and also unto kindred and orphans and the needy and the near neighbour and the distant neighbour and the companion by your side and the wayfarer and those whom your right hands own verily allah loveth not one who is vainglorious, boaster-
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، اللَّه އަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާށެވެ! އަދި، އެކަލާނގެއަށް އެއްވެސް އެއްޗެއް شريك ނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، މައިންބަފައިންނަށާއި، ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނަށާއި، يتيم ންނަށާއި، مسكين ންނަށާއި، ގާތް އަވަށްޓެރިޔާއަށާއި، ދުރު އަވަށްޓެރިޔާއަށާއި، ކައިރި އެކުވެރިޔާއަށާއި، ދަތުރުވެރިޔާއަށާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ އަޅުންނަށް ހެޔޮކޮށް ހިތާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމާގެ މޮޅުކަން ތިމާޔަށްފެނި، ބޮޑާވެގެން އުޅޭ މީހަކުކަމުގައި ވެއްޖެ މީހަކުދެކެ، اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.
