ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރެ ސީދާވެގަތުމަށް އެދޭ މީހަކަށްޓަކައެވެ.

to whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight,
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރެ ސީދާވެގަތުމަށް އެދޭ މީހަކަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and thus we have sent it down as evidences, and verily allah guideth whomsoever he intendeth.
އެފަދައިން ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ آية ތަކެއް ކަމުގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ قرآن ބާވައިލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ އިރަދާކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ތެދުމަގު ދައްކަވަތެވެ.

and whomsoever we grant long life, we reverse him in creation. reflect then they not?
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެމީހެއްގެ عمر ދިގުކުރައްވާ މީހާ (ގެ ކަންތައް) ހެއްދެވި ހެއްދެވުމުގައި އެކޮޅުކޮޅުން ޖައްސަވާހުށީމެވެ. (އެބަހީ: އާރެއް ބާރެއްނެތް ގޮތުގައި ފެށިގެންއައިސް ޒުވާންކަމުގެ دور ނިމި، އެންމެފަހުން އާރެއް ބާރެއް ނެތް މީހަކު ކަމުގައި ލައްވާހުށީމެވެ.) ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ނުވިސްނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

his are the keys of the heavens and the earth. he expandeth provision for whomsoever he will and stinteth.
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގެ ތަޅުދަނޑިތައް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق ތަނަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި (އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق) ދަތިކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލާނގެއީ، ކޮންމެކަމެއްމެ މޮޅަށްދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and god summons to the abode of peace, and he guides whomsoever he will to to a straight path;
اللَّه ގޮވައިލައްވަނީ، ސަލާމަތުގެ ގޮވައްޗަށެވެ. (އެބަހީ: ސުވަރުގެއަށެވެ.) އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ބަޔަކަށް، ސީދާވެގެންވާ ތެދުމަގަށް އެކަލާނގެ މަގު ދައްކަވަތެވެ.

allah outspreads and restricts his provision to whomsoever he will of his worshipers. allah has knowledge of all things.
اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންގެ ތެރެއިން އިރާދަކުރައްވާ އަޅަކަށް رزق ތަނަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ (އިރާދަކުރައްވާ) އަޅަކަށް (رزق) ދަތިކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

allah expandeth provision for whomsoever he will of his bondmen and stinteth it for him. verily allah is of everything the knower.
اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންގެ ތެރެއިން އިރާދަކުރައްވާ އަޅަކަށް رزق ތަނަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ (އިރާދަކުރައްވާ) އަޅަކަށް (رزق) ދަތިކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

allah is gentle unto his bondmen: he provideth for whomsoever he will, and he is the strong, the mighty.
اللَّه އީ، އެކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންނަށް އޯގާވަންތަކަންބޮޑު ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ އަޅަކަށް رزق ދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެއީ، ބާރުވެރިވަންތަ، عزيز ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

allah is most gentle to his servants and grants sustenance to whomsoever he pleases. he is all-strong, most mighty.
اللَّه އީ، އެކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންނަށް އޯގާވަންތަކަންބޮޑު ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ އަޅަކަށް رزق ދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެއީ، ބާރުވެރިވަންތަ، عزيز ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and he will take away the rage of their hearts. and allah will relent toward whomsoever he liketh; and allah is knowing, wise.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ (އެބަހީ: مؤمن ންގެ) ހިތްތަކުގައިވާ ރުޅިވެރިކަން ފިއްލަވާނެތެވެ. اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ބަޔެއްގެ މައްޗަށް توبة ލައްވާނެތެވެ. اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ حكيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. he forgiveth whomsoever he listeth, and tormenteth whomsoever he listeth.
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައި ވާހާ އެއްޗެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ، اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and this was our argument which we vouchsafed unto ibrahim against his people. we raise in degrees whomsoever we list; verily thy lord is wise, knowing.
އެ ހުރިހާކަމަކީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (حضرة ން އައި) حجّة ތަކެވެ. އެ حجّة ތައް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ إبراهيم ގެފާނަށް ދެއްވީ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ހުށަހެޅުއްވުމަށެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ބަޔަކު، ދަރަޖަ މަތިވެރިކުރައްވަމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، حكيم ވަންތަ މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and guard them against evil deeds; whomsoever thou guardest against evil deeds on that day, on him thou hast had mercy; and that is indeed the mighty triumph.
އަދި ނުބައިކަންތަކުން އެއުރެން ސަލާމަތްކުރައްވާނދޭވެ! އަދި އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ އެދުވަހުން، ނުބައިކަމުން ސަލާމަތްކުރައްވާ މީހަކީ، އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ލެއްވި މީހެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ނަސީބު ލިބުމަކީ ހަމައެއީއެވެ.

and allah's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth. he forgiveth whomsoever he will and tormenteth whomsoever he will; and allah is ever forgiving, merciful.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގެ ވެރިކަންވަނީ اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް ފާފަފުއްސަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް عذاب ދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ކަލަކުކަމުގައި اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

say they: he hath fabricated it! say thou: then bring ye a surah like thereunto, and call whomsoever ye can beside allah, if ye say sooth.
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! (އެ قرآن (އެއީ، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހައްދަވައިގެން އުޅުއްވާ އެއްޗެއްކަމަށް އެއުރެން ބުނަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތެދުވެރިން ކަމުގައިވަނީނަމަ، اللَّه ފިޔަވައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކުޅަދާނަވީހައި ބަޔަކަށް ގޮވައިގެން ނަމަވެސް، އެއާ އެއްފަދަ سورة އެއް ނިކަން ގެނެސްބަލާށެވެ!

you make the night succeed the day, the day succeed the night, raise the living from the dead, the dead from the living, and give whomsoever you please, and in measure without number."
އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ، ދުވާލުގެ ތެރެއަށް ރޭގަނޑު ވައްދަވަމުއެވެ. އަދި، ރޭގަނޑުގެ ތެރެއަށް ދުވާލު ވައްދަވަމުއެވެ. އަދި، މަރުވެފައިވާ ތަކެތީން ދިރޭތަކެތި ނެރުއްވަމުއެވެ. އަދި، ދިރޭތަކެތީން މަރުވެފައިވާ ތަކެތި ނެރުއްވަމުއެވެ. އަދި، އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް حساب އެއްނެތި رزق ދެއްވަމުއެވެ.

"prostrate yourselves before the merciful," they retort, "what is the merciful? would you have us prostrate ourselves before whomsoever you will?"
އަދި رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން سجدة ކުރާށޭ އެއުރެންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު، އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަކީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްހޭ؟ ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިމަންމެންނަށް އަމުރުކުރައްވާ އެއްޗަކަށް ތިމަންމެން سجدة ކުރާނެހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ނަފުރަތުދިޔައީ އިތުރުވެގެންނެވެ.
