when he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

and there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

and believers were the more added to the lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
ܘܝܬܝܪ ܡܬܬܘܤܦܢ ܗܘܘ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܡܪܝܐ ܟܢܫܐ ܕܓܒܪܐ ܘܕܢܫܐ

now when jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
ܟܕ ܚܙܐ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܟܢܫܐ ܤܓܝܐܐ ܕܚܕܝܪܝܢ ܠܗ ܦܩܕ ܕܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܠܥܒܪܐ

but when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified god, which had given such power unto men.
ܟܕ ܚܙܘ ܕܝܢ ܟܢܫܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܚܠܘ ܘܫܒܚܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܕܝܗܒ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܕܐܝܟ ܗܢܐ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ

and seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
ܟܕ ܚܙܐ ܕܝܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܟܢܫܐ ܤܠܩ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܘܟܕ ܝܬܒ ܩܪܒܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ

and straightway jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
ܘܡܚܕܐ ܐܠܨ ܠܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܕܢܤܩܘܢ ܠܤܦܝܢܬܐ ܘܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܠܥܒܪܐ ܥܕ ܫܪܐ ܗܘ ܠܟܢܫܐ

and when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, it was never so seen in israel.
ܘܡܢ ܕܢܦܩ ܕܝܘܐ ܡܠܠ ܗܘ ܚܪܫܐ ܘܐܬܕܡܪܘ ܟܢܫܐ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܐ ܡܬܘܡ ܐܬܚܙܝ ܗܟܢܐ ܒܐܝܤܪܐܝܠ

and great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
ܘܐܬܟܢܫܘ ܠܘܬܗ ܟܢܫܐ ܤܓܝܐܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܢܤܩ ܢܬܒ ܠܗ ܒܐܠܦܐ ܘܟܠܗ ܟܢܫܐ ܩܐܡ ܗܘܐ ܥܠ ܤܦܪ ܝܡܐ

and as they departed, jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning john, what went ye out into the wilderness to see? a reed shaken with the wind?
ܟܕ ܕܝܢ ܐܙܠܘ ܫܪܝ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܡܐܡܪ ܠܟܢܫܐ ܥܠ ܝܘܚܢܢ ܡܢܐ ܢܦܩܬܘܢ ܠܚܘܪܒܐ ܠܡܚܙܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܕܡܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܡܬܬܙܝܥ

and he saith unto me, the waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܡܝܐ ܕܚܙܝܬ ܕܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܝܬܒܐ ܙܢܝܬܐ ܥܡܡܐ ܘܟܢܫܐ ܘܐܡܘܬܐ ܘܠܫܢܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ

all these things spake jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
ܗܠܝܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܡܠܠ ܝܫܘܥ ܒܦܠܐܬܐ ܠܟܢܫܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܦܠܐܬܐ ܠܐ ܡܡܠܠ ܗܘܐ ܥܡܗܘܢ
