اور تمہارا رب ہی سب سے بڑا کریم،

recite thou: and thy lord is the most bounteous,
اور تمہارا رب ہی سب سے بڑا کریم،

convey to the believers the good news that god has bounteous blessings in store for them.
آپ مومنوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیجئے! کہ ان کے لئے اللہ کی طرف سے بہت بڑا فضل ہے

and if they separate, god will enrich each from his abundance. god is bounteous and wise.
اور اگر دونوں (میاں بیوی) جدا ہو جائیں تواللہ ہر ایک کو اپنی کشائش سے (ایک دوسرے سے) بے نیاز کر دے گا اور اللہ بڑی وسعت والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے،

announce to the believers the good tidings that allah has kept bounteous blessings in store for them.
آپ مومنوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیجئے! کہ ان کے لئے اللہ کی طرف سے بہت بڑا فضل ہے

but if they separate, allah will suffice each of them out of his bounty, and allah is all-bounteous, all-wise.
اور اگر دونوں (میاں بیوی) جدا ہو جائیں تواللہ ہر ایک کو اپنی کشائش سے (ایک دوسرے سے) بے نیاز کر دے گا اور اللہ بڑی وسعت والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے،

as for man - when his lord proveth him and so honoureth him and is bounteous unto him, then he saith: 'my lord hath honoured me,
انسان (کا یہ حال ہے کہ) جب اسے اس کا رب آزماتا ہے اور عزت ونعمت دیتا ہے تو وه کہنے لگتا ہے کہ میرے رب نے مجھے عزت دار بنایا

but if the two separate, out of his plenty allah will make each dispense with the other. indeed allah is all-bounteous, all-wise.
اور اگر دونوں (میاں بیوی) جدا ہو جائیں تواللہ ہر ایک کو اپنی کشائش سے (ایک دوسرے سے) بے نیاز کر دے گا اور اللہ بڑی وسعت والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے،

he said: “my lord, forgive me and bestow upon me a kingdom such as none other after me will deserve. surely you are the bounteous giver.”
(اور) دعا کی کہ اے پروردگار مجھے مغفرت کر اور مجھ کو ایسی بادشاہی عطا کر کہ میرے بعد کسی کو شایاں نہ ہو۔ بےشک تو بڑا عطا فرمانے والا ہے

satan threatens you with want, and orders you (to commit) shameful acts. but god promises his pardon and grace, for god is bounteous and all-knowing.
(اور دیکھنا) شیطان (کا کہنا نہ ماننا وہ) تمہیں تنگ دستی کا خوف دلاتا اور بےحیائی کے کام کر نے کو کہتا ہے۔ اور خدا تم سے اپنی بخشش اور رحمت کا وعدہ کرتا ہے۔ اور خدا بڑی کشائش والا (اور) سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے

satan frightens you of poverty and prompts you to [commit] indecent acts. but allah promises you his forgiveness and bounty, and allah is all-bounteous, all-knowing.
(اور دیکھنا) شیطان (کا کہنا نہ ماننا وہ) تمہیں تنگ دستی کا خوف دلاتا اور بےحیائی کے کام کر نے کو کہتا ہے۔ اور خدا تم سے اپنی بخشش اور رحمت کا وعدہ کرتا ہے۔ اور خدا بڑی کشائش والا (اور) سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے
