but as for someone who is wealthy,
جو بے پرواہی کرتا ہے

but as for someone who comes hurrying to you,
اور جو تمہارے پاس دوڑتا ہوا (شوق سے) آتا ہے۔

there is indeed a moral in that for someone who fears!
اس واقعہ میں خوف خدا رکھنے والوں کے لئے عبرت کا سامان ہے

as for someone who endures patiently and forgives—that is indeed the steadiest of courses.
البتہ جو شخص صبر سے کام لے اور درگزر کرے، تو یہ بڑی اولوالعزمی کے کاموں میں سے ہے

they will have no power of intercession, except for someone who has an agreement with the most merciful.
(اس دن) لوگ شفاعت کے مالک نہ ہوں گے سوائے ان کے جنہوں نے (خدائے) رحمان سے وعدۂ (شفاعت) لے لیا ہے،

it is he who made the night and the day alternate for someone who desires to take admonition, or desires to give thanks.
اور (خدائے) رحمن کے (خاص) بندے وہ ہیں جو زمین پر آہستہ آہستہ (فروتنی کے ساتھ) چلتے ہیں اور جب جاہل لوگ ان سے خطاب کرتے ہیں تو وہ کہتے ہیں تم پر سلام۔

and surely we will settle you in the land after them. this [promise] is for someone who is awed to stand before me and fears my threat.’
اور ان کے بعد اس زمین میں تمہیں آباد کر دیں گے یہ اس کے لیے ہے جو میرے سامنے کھڑا ہونے سے ڈرا اور جس نے میرے عذاب سے خوف کھایا

complete the hajj and the ‘umrah for allah’s sake, and if you are prevented, then [make] such [sacrificial] offering as is feasible. and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches its [assigned] place. but should any of you be sick, or have a hurt in his head, let the atonement be by fasting, or charity, or sacrifice. and when you have security—for those who enjoy [release from the restrictions] by virtue of their ‘umrah until the hajj—let the offering be such as is feasible. as for someone who cannot afford [the offering], let him fast three days during the hajj and seven when you return; that is [a period of] ten complete [days]. that is for someone whose family does not dwell by the holy mosque. and be wary of allah, and know that allah is severe in retribution.
اللہ کی خوشنودی کے لیے جب حج اور عمرے کی نیت کرو، تو اُسے پورا کرو اور اگر کہیں گھر جاؤ تو جو قربانی میسر آئے، اللہ کی جناب میں پیش کرو اور اپنے سر نہ مونڈو جب تک کہ قربانی اپنی جگہ نہ پہنچ جائے مگر جو شخص مریض ہو یا جس کے سر میں کوئی تکلیف ہو اور اس بنا پر اپنا سر منڈوا لے، تو اُسے چاہیے کہ فدیے کے طور پر روزے رکھے یا صدقہ دے یا قربانی کرے پھر اگر تمہیں امن نصیب ہو جائے (اور تم حج سے پہلے مکے پہنچ جاؤ)، تو جو شخص تم میں سے حج کا زمانہ آنے تک عمرے کا فائدہ اٹھائے، وہ حسب مقدور قربانی دے، اور ا گر قربانی میسر نہ ہو، تو تین روزے حج کے زمانے میں اور سات گھر پہنچ کر، اِس طرح پورے دس روزے رکھ لے یہ رعایت اُن لوگوں کے لیے ہے، جن کے گھر بار مسجد حرام کے قریب نہ ہوں اللہ کے اِن احکام کی خلاف ورزی سے بچو اور خوب جان لو کہ اللہ سخت سزا دینے والا ہے
