اور (حیوانات، نباتات اور معدنیات وغیرہ میں سے بقیہ) جو کچھ بھی اس نے تمہارے لئے زمین میں پیدا فرمایا ہے جن کے رنگ (یعنی جنسیں، نوعیں، قسمیں، خواص اور منافع) الگ الگ ہیں (سب تمہارے لئے مسخر ہیں)، بیشک اس میں نصیحت قبول کرنے والے لوگوں کے لئے نشانی ہے،

and other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds.
اس کے علاوه اور طرح طرح کے عذاب

do not turn your eyes covetously towards the embellishments of worldly life that we have bestowed upon various kinds of people to test them. but the clean provision bestowed upon you by your lord is better and more enduring.
اور آپ دنیوی زندگی میں زیب و آرائش کی ان چیزوں کی طرف حیرت و تعجب کی نگاہ نہ فرمائیں جو ہم نے (کافر دنیاداروں کے) بعض طبقات کو (عارضی) لطف اندوزی کے لئے دے رکھی ہیں تاکہ ہم ان (ہی چیزوں) میں ان کے لئے فتنہ پیدا کر دیں، اور آپ کے رب کی (اخروی) عطا بہتر اور ہمیشہ باقی رہنے والی ہے،

and what prevented men from accepting faith when guidance came to them, and from asking forgiveness from their lord except that the tradition of the former nations come upon them or that they confront various kinds of punishments?
اور آدمیوں کو کسی چیز نے اس سے روکا کہ ایمان لاتے جب ہدایت ان کے پاس آئی اور اپنے رب سے معافی مانگتے مگر یہ کہ ان پر اگلوں کا دستور آئے یا ان پر قسم قسم کا عذاب آئے،

who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. and we have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation.
اس نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو گہوارہ بنایا ہے اور اس میں تمہارے لئے راستے بنائے ہیں اور آسمان سے پانی برسایا ہے جس کے ذریعہ ہم نے مختلف قسم کے نباتات کا جوڑا پیدا کیا ہے
