اور اس شخص نے کہا جو ایمان لا چکا تھا: اے میری قوم! تم میری پیروی کرو میں تمہیں خیر و ہدایت کی راہ پر لگا دوں گا،

and they give food out of love for him to the poor and the orphan and the captive:
اور (اپنا) کھانا اﷲ کی محبت میں (خود اس کی طلب و حاجت ہونے کے باوُجود اِیثاراً) محتاج کو اور یتیم کو اور قیدی کو کھلا دیتے ہیں،

they give food, despite their love for it, to the poor and orphans and captives,
اور (اپنا) کھانا اﷲ کی محبت میں (خود اس کی طلب و حاجت ہونے کے باوُجود اِیثاراً) محتاج کو اور یتیم کو اور قیدی کو کھلا دیتے ہیں،

o prophet, say to your wives, "if you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, i will provide for you and give you a gracious release.
اے غیب بتانے والے (نبی)! اپنی بیبیوں سے فرمادے اگر تم دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی آرائش چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں مال دُوں اور اچھی طرح چھوڑ دُوں

o prophet! say to your wives, ‘if you desire the life of the world and its glitter, come, i will provide for you and release you in a graceful manner.
اے غیب بتانے والے (نبی)! اپنی بیبیوں سے فرمادے اگر تم دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی آرائش چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں مال دُوں اور اچھی طرح چھوڑ دُوں

o prophet, say to your wives: "in case you desire the life and pomp of this world, come, i will provide you handsomely, and let you go with a grace.
اے غیب بتانے والے (نبی)! اپنی بیبیوں سے فرمادے اگر تم دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی آرائش چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں مال دُوں اور اچھی طرح چھوڑ دُوں

o prophet! say to thy consorts: "if it be that ye desire the life of this world, and its glitter,- then come! i will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner.
اے غیب بتانے والے (نبی)! اپنی بیبیوں سے فرمادے اگر تم دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی آرائش چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں مال دُوں اور اچھی طرح چھوڑ دُوں

(remember) when your lord said to the angels, “i will create a human from clay.” –
جب تیرے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا کہ میں ایک انسان مٹی سے بنانے والا ہوں

and when abraham said, ‘my lord, make this a secure town, and provide its people with fruits—such of them as have faith in allah and the last day,’ he said, ‘as for him who is faithless, i will provide for him [too] for a short time, then i will shove him toward the punishment of the fire and it is an evil destination.’
اور (وہ وقت یاد کرو) جب ابراہیم (ع) نے کہا (دعا کی) اے میرے پروردگار اس شہر (مکہ) کو امن والا شہر بنا۔ اور اس کے رہنے والوں میں سے جو اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان لائیں انہیں ہر قسم کے پھلوں سے روزی عطا فرما۔ ارشاد ہوا: اور جو کفر اختیار کرے گا اس کو بھی چند روزہ (زندگی میں) فائدہ اٹھانے دوں گا۔ اور پھر اسے کشاں کشاں دوزخ کے عذاب کی طرف لے جاؤں گا۔ اور وہ کیسا برا ٹھکانا ہے۔
