and he it is who has made two seas to flow freely, the one sweet that subdues thirst by its sweetness, and the other salt that burns by its saltness; and between the two he has made a barrier and inviolable obstruction.

(آپ ان سے فرما دیجئے کہ) مجھے تو یہی حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ اس شہرِ (مکّہ) کے رب کی عبادت کروں جس نے اسے عزت و حُرمت والا بنایا ہے اور ہر چیز اُسی کی (مِلک) ہے اور مجھے (یہ) حکم (بھی) دیا گیا ہے کہ میں (اللہ کے) فرمانبرداروں میں رہوں،

(tell them, o muhammad): "i have been commanded only to serve the lord of this city that he has made inviolable, to serve him to whom all things belong. i have been commanded to be of those that submit to allah,
(آپ ان سے فرما دیجئے کہ) مجھے تو یہی حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ اس شہرِ (مکّہ) کے رب کی عبادت کروں جس نے اسے عزت و حُرمت والا بنایا ہے اور ہر چیز اُسی کی (مِلک) ہے اور مجھے (یہ) حکم (بھی) دیا گیا ہے کہ میں (اللہ کے) فرمانبرداروں میں رہوں،
