and assuredly we vouchsafed the the scripture unto musa after we had destroyed the generations of old: enlightenment unto mankind and a guidance and a mercy, that haply they might be admonished.
waxaan siinay (nabi) muuse kitaabka ka dib intaan halaagnay quruumihii hore, isagoo aragti u ah dadka iyo hanuun iyo naxariis inay xusuustaan darteed.

and that those who have been vouchsafed knowledge may know that it is the truth from thy lord and may believe therein, and so their hearts may submit thereto. and verily allah is the guide of those who believe unto a path straight.
inay ogaadaan kuwa cilmiga la siiyey «mu'miniintu» innu yahay xaq eebe ka yimid (quraanka) oy rumeeyaan, oy u khushuucdo dartiis quluubtoodu eebana wuu ku hanuunin kuwa rumeeyey (xaqa) jid toosan.

and likewise have we sent down unto thee the book; so those to whom we have vouchsafed the book believe therein, and of those also some believe therein. and none gainsay our signs save the infidels.
saasaanu kuugu soodajiney kitaabka, kuwa la siiyey kitaabkana way rumeeyaan, kuwaasna waxaa ka mid ah kuwo rumeyn (ree makaad), mana diido aayaadkanaga gaalmooyee.

and assuredly vouchsafed unto musa the book, and disputation arose thereabout; and had not a word preceded from thy lord, it would have been decreed between them. and verily they are concerning that in doubt disquieting.
waxaan siinnay (nabi) muuse kitaabka (tawreed) waana laysku khilaafay, hadduunan jirin hadal eebahaa oo horreeyey waa lakala xugmin lahaa dhexdooda, waxayna iyagu kaga suganyihiin shaki daran.

and assuredly we vouchsafed unto musa the book, and difference arose concerning it; and had not a word gone forth from thy lord, the affair would have been decreed between them. and verily they are in regard thereto in doubt and dubitating.
dhab ahaanbaan u siinay nabi muuse kitaabka waana laysku khilaafay, haddayan jirin kalimo ka hormartay eebahaa waa lakala xukminlahaa dhexdooda waxayna ku suganyihiin gaaladu shaki daran.

allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. and assuredly we enjoined those who were vouchsafed the book before you and yourselves: fear allah, and if ye disbelieve then allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and allah is ever self-sufficient, praiseworthy.
eebaa iska leh waxa samaawaadka ku sugan iyo dhulka. waxaana u dardaarnay kuwii la siiyey kitaabka ee idinka horeeyey iyo idinkaba ka dhawrsada eebe, haddaadse gaaloowdaan eebe waxaa u sugnaaday waxa ku sugan samaawaadka iyo dhulka. eebana waa hodan amaanan.
