and had it not been for the favor of my lord, i would certainly have been among those brought up.
Ва агар мавҳибати (бахшиши) Парвардигорам набуд, ман низ аз ҳозиршудагони азоб мебудам.

if not for the favor of my lord, i would have been of those brought in [to hell].
Ва агар мавҳибати (бахшиши) Парвардигорам набуд, ман низ аз ҳозиршудагони азоб мебудам.

and had it not been for the favour of my lord, i too had been of those haled forth (to doom).
Ва агар мавҳибати (бахшиши) Парвардигорам набуд, ман низ аз ҳозиршудагони азоб мебудам.

"had it not been for the grace of my lord, i should certainly have been among those brought (there)!
Ва агар мавҳибати (бахшиши) Парвардигорам набуд, ман низ аз ҳозиршудагони азоб мебудам.

lot was the one who believed in him and said, "i shall migrate to another land for the sake of my lord. he is the mighty one, the wise one."
Лут ба Ӯ имон овард ва гуфт: «Ман ба сӯи Парвардигорам муҳоҷират (тарки ватан) мекунам, зеро Ӯ пирӯзманду ҳаким аст!»

but lut had faith in him: he said: "i will leave home for the sake of my lord: for he is exalted in might, and wise."
Лут ба Ӯ имон овард ва гуфт: «Ман ба сӯи Парвардигорам муҳоҷират (тарки ватан) мекунам, зеро Ӯ пирӯзманду ҳаким аст!»

i bring to you the messages of my lord. i am your sincere friend.
Паёмҳои Парвардигорамро ба шумо мерасонам ва шуморо пандгӯе боваринокам.

Ва агар мавҳибати (бахшиши) Парвардигорам набуд, ман низ аз ҳозиршудагони азоб мебудам.

he said: this is a mercy from my lord; but when the promise of my lord cometh to pass, he will lay it low, for the promise of my lord is true.
Гуфт: «Ин раҳмате буд аз ҷониби Парвардигори ман ва чун ваъдаи Парвардигори ман даррасад, онро зеру забар кунад ва ваъдаи Парвардигори ман рост аст».

i deliver to you the messages of my lord; i am your adviser sincere, faithful.
Паёмҳои Парвардигорамро ба шумо мерасонам ва шуморо пандгӯе боваринокам.

he said: "the love of horses is worthy of desire to me for the remembrance of my lord;" and when they were out of sight, (he said):
гуфт: «Ман дӯстии ин аспонро бар ёди Парвардигорам бигзидам, то офтоб дар пардаи ғуруб пушида шуд (яъне намози аср қазо шуд),

"i convey unto you the messages of my lord, and i am a trustworthy adviser (or well-wisher) for you.
Паёмҳои Парвардигорамро ба шумо мерасонам ва шуморо пандгӯе боваринокам.

say to them, "if the abode of the hereafter with allah is exclusively reserved for you and not for the rest of mankind, then you should long for death, if you arc sincere in your claim."
Бигӯ: «Агар рост мегӯед, ки олами охират назди Худо махсуси шумост, на мардуми дигар, пас орзуи марг кунед».
