Ва агар ба интизори кушоише, ки аз ҷониби Парвардигорат умед медорӣ, ва аз онҳо рӯйгардонӣ мекунӣ, пас бо онҳо ба нармӣ сухан бигӯй.

so why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, –
Агар қиёматро бовар надоред,

and those who have disbelieved say, "you are not a messenger."
Кофирон мегӯянд, ки ту паёмбар нести.

(muhammad), the unbelievers say, "you are not a messenger."
Кофирон мегӯянд, ки ту паёмбар нести.

that which is left to you by god is better, if you are true believers; yet i am not a warden over you."
Агар имон овардаед, он чӣ Худо боки мегузорад, бароятон беҳтар аст. Ва ман нигаҳбони шумо нестам».

therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman.
Пандашон деҳ, ки ту ба баракати неъмати Парвардигорат на коҳин (ҷодугар) ҳастиву на маҷнун.

had god willed, they would not have practiced idolatry. we did not appoint you as a guardian over them, and you are not a manager over them.
Агар Худо мехост онон ширк намеоварданд ва мо туро нигаҳбонашон насохтаем ва ту корсозашон нестӣ!

you are not at fault if you marry them, provided you give them their compensation.
Ва агар онҳоро никоҳ кунед ва маҳрашонро бидиҳед, гуноҳе накардаед. Ва занони кофири худро нигоҳ надоред.

and [as for] those who take protectors besides him, god is watching them and you are not a guardian over them.
Худо муроқиби (нозири) аъмоли касонест, ки ғайри Ӯро ба дӯстӣ гирифтанд. Ва ту вакили онҳо нестӣ.

say “o jews! if you assume that you are allah’s friends, others are not, then wish for death if you are truthful!”
Бигӯ: «Эй қавми яҳуд, ҳар гоҳ мепипдоред, ки шумо дӯстони Худо ҳастед, на мардуми дигар, пас орзуи марг кунед, агар рост мегӯед!»

believers, if you marry believing women, and divorce them before the marriage is consummated, you are not required to observe a waiting period: make provision for them and release them in an honourable way.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, чун занони мӯъминро никоҳ кардед, ва пеш аз он ки бо онҳо наздикӣ кунед, талоқашон гуфтед, шуморо бар онҳо иддае нест, ки бипоянд. Пас ононро ҳадя диҳед ва ба некӯтарин тарз раҳояшон кунед.

o you who believe! when you go to war in allah's way, make investigation, and do not say to any one who offers you peace: you are not a believer.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, чун барои ҷиҳод раҳсипор шавед, нек тафаҳҳус (санҷиш) кунед. Ва ба он кас, ки ба, р шумо салом гӯяд, магӯед, ки мӯъмин нести.

o believers, when you go out on a journey in the way of god, be discreet and do not say to anyone who greets you in peace: "you are not a believer."
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, чун барои ҷиҳод раҳсипор шавед, нек тафаҳҳус (санҷиш) кунед. Ва ба он кас, ки ба, р шумо салом гӯяд, магӯед, ки мӯъмин нести.

surely we have revealed to you the book with the truth for the sake of men; so whoever follows the right way, it is for his own soul and whoever errs, he errs only to its detriment; and you are not a custodian over them.
Мо ин китобро ба ҳақ барои ҳидояти мардум бар ту нозил кардем. Пас ҳар кас, ки ҳидоят ёфт, ба нафъи худи ӯст ва ҳар кӣ гумроҳ шуд, ба зиёни худ ба гумроҳӣ афтода ва ту вакили онҳо нестӣ.

o you who believe! when you journey in the way of god, investigate, and do not say to him who offers you peace, “you are not a believer,” aspiring for the goods of this world.
