பொறுமையாக இருந்தார்களே அவர்கள் தவிர வேறு யாரும் அதை அடைய மாட்டார்கள் மேலும், மகத்தான நற்பாக்கியம் உடையவர்கள் தவிர, வேறு யாரும் அதை அடைய மாட்டார்கள்.

but none will attain it except those who persevere, and none will attain it except the very fortunate.
பொறுமையாக இருந்தார்களே அவர்கள் தவிர வேறு யாரும் அதை அடைய மாட்டார்கள் மேலும், மகத்தான நற்பாக்கியம் உடையவர்கள் தவிர, வேறு யாரும் அதை அடைய மாட்டார்கள்.

and only those attain true success who obey allah and his messenger and fear allah and refrain from his disobedience.
இன்னும் எவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படிந்து அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு பயபக்தி கொள்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தாம் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்கள்.

but only he that brings to allah a sound heart will (attain to success)."
"எவரொருவர் பரிசுத்த இருதயத்தை அல்லாஹ்விடம் கொண்டு வருகிறாரோ அவர் (கண்ணியம் அடைவார்)."

and firon said: o haman! build for me a tower that i may attain the means of access,
(இவ்வளவு உபதேசித்த பின்னரும்;) "ஹாமானே உயரமான ஒரு கோபுரத்தை எனக்காக நீ கட்டுவாயாக - நான் (மேலே செல்வதற்கான) பாதைகளைப் பெறும் பொருட்டு!

and there are other benefits in them for you and that ye may attain thereby to any need that is in your breasts and upon them and upon ships ye are borne.

believers! do not swallow interest, doubled and redoubled, and be mindful of allah so that you may attain true success.
ஈமான் கொண்டோரே! இரட்டித்துக் கொண்டே அதிகரித்த நிலையில் வட்டி (வாங்கித்) தின்னாதீர்கள்;. இன்னும் நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சி (இதைத் தவிர்த்துக் கொண்டால்) வெற்றியடைவீர்கள்.

and do not strut about the land with insolence: surely you cannot cleave the earth, nor attain the height of mountains in stature.
மேலும், நீர் பூமியில் பெருமையாய் நடக்க வேண்டாம்; (ஏனென்றால்) நிச்சயமாக நீர் பூமியைப் பிளந்துவிட முடியாது மலையின் உச்சி(யளவு)க்கு உயர்ந்து விடவும் முடியாது.

believers! fear allah and seek the means to come near to him, and strive hard in his way; maybe you will attain true success.
முஃமின்களே! அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்சிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்;. அவன்பால் நெருங்குவதற்குரிய வழியை(வணக்கங்களின் மூலம்) தேடிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்;. அவனுடைய பாதையில் போர் புரியுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் வெற்றி பெறலாம்.

and from among you there must be a party who invite people to all that is good and enjoin the doing of all that is right and forbid the doing of all that is wrong. it is they who will attain true success.
மேலும், (மக்களை) நன்மையின் பக்கம் அழைப்பவர்களாகவும், நல்லதைக் கொண்டு (மக்களை) ஏவுபவர்களாகவும் தீயதிலிருந்து (மக்களை) விலக்குபவர்களாகவும் உங்களிலிருந்து ஒரு கூட்டத்தார் இருக்கட்டும் - இன்னும் அவர்களே வெற்றி பெற்றோராவர்.

and those who had been vouchsafed the knowledge said: woe unto you! the reward of allah is best for him who believeth and worketh righteously and none shall attain it except the patient.
கல்வி ஞானம் பெற்றவர்களோ "உங்களுக்கென்ன கேடு! ஈமான் கொண்டு, நல்ல அமல்களை செய்பவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் அளிக்கும் வெகுமதி இதைவிட மேன்மையானது எனினும், அதைப் பொறுமையாளரைத் தவிர, (வேறு) எவரும் அடைய மாட்டார்கள்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.

"for if they should come upon you, they would stone you or force you to return to their cult, and in that case ye would never attain prosperity."
ஏனென்றால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் உங்களை அறிந்து கொண்டால், உங்களைக் கல்லாலடித்துக் கொன்றுவிடுவார்கள்; அல்லது தங்களுடைய மார்க்கத்தில் உங்களை மீட்டி விடுவார்கள்; அப்புறம், நீங்கள் ஒருபோதும் வெற்றியடைய மாட்டீர்கள்" (என்றும் கூறினர்).

and moses replied, "my lord knows best who comes with guidance from him and who will attain the heavenly abode in the hereafter. the wrongdoers shall never prosper."
(அப்போது மூஸா) கூறினார்; "அவனிடமிருந்து நேர்வழியுடன் வருபவர் யாரென்றும்; இறுதி(யாக சுவன) வீடு யாருக்காக உள்ளது என்பதையும் என் இறைவன் நன்கறிவான். நிச்சயமாக அக்கிரமம் செய்வோர் வெற்றி பெற மாட்டார்கள்."

and said moosa, “my lord well knows him who has brought guidance from him, and for whom will be the abode the hereafter; indeed the unjust never attain success.”
(அப்போது மூஸா) கூறினார்; "அவனிடமிருந்து நேர்வழியுடன் வருபவர் யாரென்றும்; இறுதி(யாக சுவன) வீடு யாருக்காக உள்ளது என்பதையும் என் இறைவன் நன்கறிவான். நிச்சயமாக அக்கிரமம் செய்வோர் வெற்றி பெற மாட்டார்கள்."

"have you come," said they, "to turn us back from what we found our ancestors doing, so that the two of you may attain supremacy in the land? we shall not believe in what you say.
(அதற்கு) அவர்கள்; எங்கள் மூதாதையர்களை எதன் மீது நாங்கள் கண்டோமோ அதிலிருந்து எங்களைத் திருப்பிவிடவும், இந்த பூமியில் உங்கள் இருவருக்கும் பெருமையை உண்டாக்கிக் கொள்வதற்குமா நீங்கள் எங்களிடம் வந்தீர்கள்? ஆனால் நாங்கள் உங்களிருவர் மீதும் நம்பிக்கை கொள்பவர்களல்லர்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
