and if they cease, then indeed, allah is forgiving and merciful.
எனினும், அவர்கள் (அவ்வாறு செய்வதில் நின்றும்) ஒதுங்கி விடுவார்களாயின் (நீங்கள் அவர்களைக் கொல்லாதீர்கள்) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக மன்னிப்போனாகவும், கருணையுடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

they said: if thou cease not, o lot, thou wilt soon be of the outcast.
அவர் கூறினார்; "நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்கள் செயல்களைக் கடுமையாக வெறுப்பவனாக இருக்கிறேன்.

and those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt thereof until the hour come upon them unawares, or there come unto them the doom of a disastrous day.

and their building which they have builded will not cease to be a cause of doubt in their hearts unless it be that their hearts are cut asunder; and allah is knowing, wise.
அவர்கள் எழுப்பிய அவர்களுடைய கட்டடம் (இடிக்கப்பட்டது); அவர்கள் உள்ளங்களிலே ஒருவடுவாக இருந்துக் கொண்டே இருக்கும். அவர்களின் உள்ளங்கள் துண்டு துண்டாக ஆகும்வரை (அதாவது மரணிக்கும் வரை). அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்தவன்; ஞானமிக்கவன்.

'by god,' they said, 'thou wilt never cease mentioning joseph till thou art consumed, or among the perishing.'
(இதைக் கண்ணுற்ற அவருடைய மக்கள்; தந்தையே!) "அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியமாக! நீங்கள் யூஸுஃபை நினைத்து (நினைத்து அழுது, நோயுற்று,) இளைத்து மடிந்து போகும் வரை (அவர் எண்ணத்தை விட்டும்) நீங்க மாட்டீர்கள்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.

and fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in allah; but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.
