yet he wants that i should give him more.
பின்னரும், அவனுக்கு(ச் செல்வங்களை) நான் அதிகமாக்க வேண்டுமென்று அவன் ஆசைப்படுகிறான்.

still he is eager that i should give him more.
பின்னரும், அவனுக்கு(ச் செல்வங்களை) நான் அதிகமாக்க வேண்டுமென்று அவன் ஆசைப்படுகிறான்.

and yet, he greedily desires that i give him even more!
பின்னரும், அவனுக்கு(ச் செல்வங்களை) நான் அதிகமாக்க வேண்டுமென்று அவன் ஆசைப்படுகிறான்.

(muhammad), you must worship god alone and give him thanks.
ஆகவே, நீர் அல்லாஹ்வையே வணங்குவீராக! மேலும், அவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துபவர்களில் நின்றும் இருப்பீராக!

and in the night, give him glory too, and at the setting of the stars.
இன்னும், இரவின் ஒரு பாகத்திலும், நட்சத்திரங்கள் அடையும் நேரத்திலும் அவனைத்(துதி செய்து) தஸ்பீஹு செய்வீராக!

who will offer god a generous loan? he will double it for him and give him a rich reward.
அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அழகான கடனாகக் கடன் கொடுப்பவர் யார்? அவருக்கு அவன் அதை இரட்டிப்பாக்குகின்றான், மேலும், அவருக்குக் கண்ணியமான நற்கூலியும் உண்டு.

he has made the night and day for you to rest as a mercy to you and seek his favor and that perhaps you will give him thanks.
இன்னும், அவன் தன் ரஹ்மத்தினால் உங்களுக்கு இரவையும் பகலையும் உண்டாக்கினான்; (இரவு) நீங்கள் அதில் ஓய்வு பெறும் பொருட்டு, (பகல்) நீங்கள் அதில் அவன் அருளைத் தேடும் பொருட்டும், (உண்டாக்கினான். இதற்காக அவனுக்கு) நன்றி செலுத்துவீர்களாக!

they say, 'our lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the fire!'
"எங்கள் இறைவா! எவர் எங்களுக்கு இதை (இந்நிலையை) முற்படுத்தி வைத்தாரோ அவருக்கு நரகத்தின் வேதனையை இரு மடங்காக அதிகப்படுத்துவாயாக!" என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவர்.

god and his angels bestow blessings on the prophet. o believers, you also should invoke blessings on him and give him greetings of peace.
இந்த நபியின் மீது அல்லாஹ் அருள் புரிகிறான். மலக்குகளும் அவருக்காக அருளைத் தேடுகின்றனர். முஃமின்களே நீங்களும் அவர் மீது ஸலவாத்து சொல்லி அவர் மீது ஸலாமும் சொல்லுங்கள்.

god gave you victory in the battle of badr where your forces were much weaker than those of the enemy. have fear of god so that you may give him thanks.
"பத்று" போரில் நீங்கள் மிகவும் சக்தி குறைந்தவர்களாக இருந்த போது, அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு உதவி புரிந்தான்;. ஆகவே நீங்கள் நன்றி செலுத்துவதற்காக அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

it is god who has made the night for you to rest and the day for you to see. god is benevolent to the human being, but most people do not give him due thanks.
நீங்கள் இளைப்பாறுவதற்காக இரவையும், நீங்கள் பார்ப்பதற்காக பகலையும் அல்லாஹ்தான் படைத்தான்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மனிதர்கள் மீது அருள் பொழிகின்றான்; ஆயினும் மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் நன்றி செலுத்துவதில்லை.

and when our revelations are recited unto him he turneth away in pride as if he heard them not, as if there were a deafness in his ears. so give him tidings of a painful doom.
அ(த்தகைய)வனுக்கு நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் ஓதிக்க காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், அவன் அவற்றைக் கேட்காதவனே போல் - அவன் இரு காதுகளிலும் செவிட்டுத் தனம் இருப்பது போல், பெருமை கொண்டவனாகத் திரும்பி விடுகிறான்; ஆகவே அவனுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனையுண்டென்று (நபியே!) நீர் நற் செய்தி கூறுவீராக.

and if the debtor is in difficulty, give him respite till the time of ease; and your foregoing the entire debt from him is still better for you, if only you realise.
அன்றியும், கடன்பட்டவர் (அதனைத் தீர்க்க இயலாது) கஷ்டத்தில் இருப்பின் (அவருக்கு) வசதியான நிலை வரும்வரைக் காத்திருங்கள்;. இன்னும், (கடனைத் தீர்க்க இயலாதவருக்கு அதை) தர்மமாக விட்டுவிடுவீர்களானால் -(அதன் நன்மைகள் பற்றி) நீங்கள் அறிவீர்களானால் - (அதுவே) உங்களுக்குப் பெரும் நன்மையாகும்.

and when our verses are recited to him he haughtily turns away as if he did not hear them – as if there is deafness in his ears; so give him the glad tidings of a painful punishment.
அ(த்தகைய)வனுக்கு நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் ஓதிக்க காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், அவன் அவற்றைக் கேட்காதவனே போல் - அவன் இரு காதுகளிலும் செவிட்டுத் தனம் இருப்பது போல், பெருமை கொண்டவனாகத் திரும்பி விடுகிறான்; ஆகவே அவனுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனையுண்டென்று (நபியே!) நீர் நற் செய்தி கூறுவீராக.

and when our signs are recited to such a man he turns away, waxing proud, as though he heard them not, and in his ears were heaviness; so give him good tidings of a painful chastisement.
அ(த்தகைய)வனுக்கு நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் ஓதிக்க காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், அவன் அவற்றைக் கேட்காதவனே போல் - அவன் இரு காதுகளிலும் செவிட்டுத் தனம் இருப்பது போல், பெருமை கொண்டவனாகத் திரும்பி விடுகிறான்; ஆகவே அவனுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனையுண்டென்று (நபியே!) நீர் நற் செய்தி கூறுவீராக.

and if we give him a taste of prosperity, after some adversity has afflicted him, he will say, “troubles have gone away from me.” he becomes excited and proud.
அவனுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துன்பத்திற்குப் பின், நாம் அருட்கொடைகளை அவன் அனுபவிக்கும்படிச் செய்தால், "என்னை விட்டுக் கேடுகள் எல்லாம் போய்விட்டன" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவான். நிச்சயமாக அவன் பெருமகிழ்ச்சியும் பெருமையும் கொள்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

"whosoever desires what hastes away, we hasten to give him (in this life) as much as we please to whosoever we will; but afterwards there is hell for him in which he will burn, disgraced and ostracised.
எவர்கள் (மறுமையைப் புறக்கணித்தும் விரைவில் அழியும்) இவ்வாழ்க்கையை விரும்புகிறார்களோ, அவர்களில் நாம் நாடியவர்களுக்கு நாம் நாடுவதை (இவ்வுலகிலேயே) விரைந்து கொடுத்து விடுவோம்; பின்னரோ அ(த்தகைய)வருக்காக, நாம் ஜஹன்ன(ம் நரக)த்தைச் சித்தப்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்கிறோம்; அதில் அவர் பழிக்கப்பட்டவராகவும் சபிக்கப்பட்டவராகவும் நுழைவார்.
