the woman's punishment can be averted if she swears four times by god as testimony that her husband is a liar,
இன்னும் (அவனுடைய மனைவி குற்றத்தை மறுத்து) தன் மீதுள்ள தண்டனையை விலக்க, "நிச்சயமாக அவன் பொய்யர்களில் நின்றுமுள்ளவன்" என்று அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியம் செய்து நான்கு முறை கூறி

god has heard the statement of she who argued with you concerning her husband, as she complained to god. god heard your conversation. god is hearing and seeing.
நபியே!) எவள் தன் கணவனைப் பற்றி உம்மிடம் தர்க்தித்து, அல்லாஹ்விடமும் முறையிட்டுக் கொண்டாளோ, அவளுடைய வார்த்தையை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் செவியேற்றுக் கொண்டான் - மேலும், அல்லாஹ் உங்களிருவரின் வாக்கு வாதத்தையும் செவியேற்றான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவியேற்பவன், (எல்லாவற்றையும்) பார்ப்பவன்.

allah indeed knows the plea of her who pleads with you about her husband and complains to allah, and allah knows the contentions of both of you; surely allah is hearing, seeing.
நபியே!) எவள் தன் கணவனைப் பற்றி உம்மிடம் தர்க்தித்து, அல்லாஹ்விடமும் முறையிட்டுக் கொண்டாளோ, அவளுடைய வார்த்தையை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் செவியேற்றுக் கொண்டான் - மேலும், அல்லாஹ் உங்களிருவரின் வாக்கு வாதத்தையும் செவியேற்றான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவியேற்பவன், (எல்லாவற்றையும்) பார்ப்பவன்.

நபியே!) எவள் தன் கணவனைப் பற்றி உம்மிடம் தர்க்தித்து, அல்லாஹ்விடமும் முறையிட்டுக் கொண்டாளோ, அவளுடைய வார்த்தையை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் செவியேற்றுக் கொண்டான் - மேலும், அல்லாஹ் உங்களிருவரின் வாக்கு வாதத்தையும் செவியேற்றான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவியேற்பவன், (எல்லாவற்றையும்) பார்ப்பவன்.

(யூஸுஃப் அவளை விட்டும் தப்பி ஓட முயன்று) ஒருவரை ஒருவர் முந்திக் கொள்ள வாசலின் பக்கம் ஓடினார்கள்; அவள் அவருடைய சட்டையைப் பின்புறத்தில் கிழித்து விட்டாள்; அப்போது அவளுடைய கணவரை வாசல் பக்கம் இருவரும் கண்டனர். உடன் (தன் குற்றத்தை மறைக்க) "உம் மனைவிக்குத் தீங்கிழைக்க நாடிய இவருக்குச் சிறையிலிடப்படுவதோ அல்லது நோவினை தரும் வேதனையைத் தருவதோ அன்றி வேறு என்ன தண்டனை இருக்கமுடியும்?" என்று கேட்டாள்.
