their similitude is that of a man who kindled a fire; when it lighted all around him, allah took away their light and left them in utter darkness. so they could not see.
இத்தகையோருக்கு ஓர் உதாரணம்; நெருப்பை மூட்டிய ஒருவனின் உதாரணத்தைப் போன்றது. அ(ந் நெருப்பான)து அவனைச் சுற்றிலும் ஒளி வீசியபோது, அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுடைய ஒளியைப் பறித்துவிட்டான்; இன்னும் பார்க்க முடியாத காரிருளில் அவர்களை விட்டு விட்டான்.

recall what time musa said unto his household: verily i perceive a fire afar; i shall forthwith bring you tidings thereof, or bring unto you a brand lighted therefrom, haply ye may warm yourselves.
மூஸா தம் குடும்பத்தாரை நோக்கி; "நிச்சயமாக நான் நெருப்பைக் காண்கிறேன்; உங்களுக்கு நான் அதிலிருந்து (நாம் செல்ல வேண்டிய வழி பற்றிய) செய்தியைக் கொண்டு வருகிறேன், அல்லது நீங்கள் குளிர்காயும் பொருட்டு (உங்களுக்கு அதிலிருந்து) நெருப்புக் கங்கைக் கொண்டு வருகிறேன்" என்று கூறியதை (நபியே!) நினைவு கூர்வீராக!

he said: indeed uncleanness and wrath from your lord have lighted upon you; what! do you dispute with me about names which you and your fathers have given? allah has not sent any authority for them; wait then, i too with you will be of those who wait.
அதற்கு அவர், "உங்களுடைய இறைவனின் கோபமும், வேதனையும் உங்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்டுவிட்டன அல்லாஹ் எந்தவோர் ஆதாரத்தையும் இறக்கி வைக்காத நீங்களும் உங்களுடைய முன்னோர்களும் பெயர் சூட்டிக் கொண்டீர்களே அந்த பெயர்கள் விஷயத்திலேயா என்னிடத்திலே நீங்கள் தர்க்கம் செய்கிறீர்கள்; (எனவே உங்கள் வேதனையை) நீங்கள் எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக நானும் உங்களோடு எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்" என்று கூறினார்.
