தொழுகைகளை (குறிப்பாக) நடுத்தொழுகையை பேணிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; (தொழுகையின்போது) அல்லாஹ்வின் முன்னிலையில் உள்ளச்சப்பாட்டுடன் நில்லுங்கள்.

and his is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than allah?
வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ளவை(யெல்லாம்) அவனுக்கே (சொந்தமானவை) அவனுக்கே (என்றென்றும்) வழிபாடு உரியதாக இருக்கிறது (உண்மை இவ்வாறிருக்க) அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவற்றையா நீங்கள் அஞ்சகிறீர்கள்?

and fight against them until there be no temptations and their obedience be wholly unto allah. so if they desist, thens verily allah is the beholder of that which they do.
(முஃமின்களே! இவர்களுடைய) விஷமங்கள் முற்றிலும் நீங்கி, (அல்லாஹ்வின்) மார்க்கம் முற்றிலும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே ஆகம்வரையில் அவர்களுடன் போர் புரியுங்கள்; ஆனால் அவர்கள் (விஷமங்கள் செய்வதிலிருந்து) விலகிக் கொண்டால் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் செய்வதை உற்று நோக்கியவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

he is the living. there is no god but he. therefore pray to him with obedience all-exclusive. praise be to god, the lord of all the worlds.
அவனே (என்றென்றும்) உயிரோடிருப்பவன்; அவனையன்றி (வேறு) நாயனில்லை - ஆகவே நீங்கள் அவனுக்கே முற்றிலும் வழிபட்டு தூய உள்ளத்தோடு அவனை அழையுங்கள்; அல்ஹம்து லில்லாஹி ரப்பில் ஆலமீன் - அனைத்துப் புகழும் அகிலங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் படைத்துக் காத்துப் பரிபக்குவப்படுத்தும் நாயனான அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே ஆகும்.

obedience and good words. and when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to allah, it would have been better for them.
(ஆகவே, இறைதூதருக்கு) வழிபட்டு நடப்பதும், நன்மையான சொல்லுமே (மேலானதாகும்) எனவே, ஒரு காரியம் உறுதியாகி விட்டால், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அவர்கள் உண்மையாக நடந்து கொண்டால் அதுவே அவர்களுக்கு நன்மையாக இருக்கும்.

(they keep affirming their) obedience and saying good words. but when a course of action was clearly determined, it would have been better for them if they had proved true to allah.
