and whosoever repents, and does righteousness, he truly turns to god in repentance.
இன்னும், எவர் தவ்பா செய்து ஸாலிஹான (நற்) செய்கைகள் செய்கின்றாரோ, அவர் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்விடம் பாவ மன்னிப்புத் தேடியாவராவார்.

he accepts repentance from his servants and pardons their sins. he knows everything you do.
அவன்தான் தன் அடியார்களின் தவ்பாவை - பாவ மன்னிப்புக் கோறுதலை - ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறான்; (அவர்களின்) குற்றங்களை மன்னிக்கிறான். இன்னும், நீங்கள் செய்வதை அவன் நன்கறிகிறான்.

and whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward allah with true repentance -
இன்னும், எவர் தவ்பா செய்து ஸாலிஹான (நற்) செய்கைகள் செய்கின்றாரோ, அவர் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்விடம் பாவ மன்னிப்புத் தேடியாவராவார்.

and it is he who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons misdeeds, and he knows what you do.
அவன்தான் தன் அடியார்களின் தவ்பாவை - பாவ மன்னிப்புக் கோறுதலை - ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறான்; (அவர்களின்) குற்றங்களை மன்னிக்கிறான். இன்னும், நீங்கள் செய்வதை அவன் நன்கறிகிறான்.

and he it is who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons the evil deeds and he knows what you do;
அவன்தான் தன் அடியார்களின் தவ்பாவை - பாவ மன்னிப்புக் கோறுதலை - ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறான்; (அவர்களின்) குற்றங்களை மன்னிக்கிறான். இன்னும், நீங்கள் செய்வதை அவன் நன்கறிகிறான்.

and he it is who accepteth repentance from his bondmen, and pardoneth the evil deeds, and knoweth what ye do,
அவன்தான் தன் அடியார்களின் தவ்பாவை - பாவ மன்னிப்புக் கோறுதலை - ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறான்; (அவர்களின்) குற்றங்களை மன்னிக்கிறான். இன்னும், நீங்கள் செய்வதை அவன் நன்கறிகிறான்.

ask the forgiveness of your lord and turn to him in repentance. indeed, my lord is the most merciful, loving'
"ஆகவே உங்களுடைய இறைவனிடம் நீங்கள் மன்னிப்புக் கோரி இன்னும் அவனிடமே தவ்பா செய்து (அவன் பக்கமே) மீளுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக என்னுடைய இறைவன் மிக்க கிருபையுடையவனாகவும், பிரியமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்" (என்று கூறினார்).

bear patiently with what they say, and remember our worshiper david, a man of might. he was ever turning in repentance.
இவர்கள் கூறுவதைப்பற்றிப் பொறுமையுடன் இருப்பீராக! இன்னும், வல்லமையுள்ள நம் அடியார் தாவூதையும் நினைவு கொள்வீராக! நிச்சயமாக அவர் (எந்நிலையிலும் நம்மையே) நோக்குபவரகா இருந்தார்.

at that time adam learnt appropriate words from his lord and repented, and his lord accepted his repentance, for he is very relenting and very merciful.
பின்னர் ஆதம் தம் இறைவனிடமிருந்து சில வாக்குகளைக் கற்றுக் கொண்டார்; (இன்னும், அவற்றின் முலமாக இறைவனிடம் மன்னிப்புக்கோரினார்) எனவே இறைவன் அவரை மன்னித்தான்; நிச்சயமாக அவன் மிக மன்னிப்போனும், கருணையாளனும் ஆவான்.

"and ask forgiveness of your lord and turn unto him in repentance. verily, my lord is most merciful, most loving."
"ஆகவே உங்களுடைய இறைவனிடம் நீங்கள் மன்னிப்புக் கோரி இன்னும் அவனிடமே தவ்பா செய்து (அவன் பக்கமே) மீளுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக என்னுடைய இறைவன் மிக்க கிருபையுடையவனாகவும், பிரியமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்" (என்று கூறினார்).

and return [in repentance] to your lord and submit to him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped.
ஆகவே (மனிதர்களே!) உங்களுக்கு வேதனை வரும் முன்னரே நீங்கள், உங்கள் இறைவன் பால் திரும்பி, அவனுக்கே முற்றிலும் வழிபடுங்கள்; (வேதனை வந்துவிட்டால்) பின்பு நீங்கள் உதவி செய்யப்பட மாட்டீர்கள்.

and he will remove the anxiety of their hearts; and allah may accept the repentance of whomever he wills; and allah is all knowing, wise.
அவர்களுடைய இதயங்களிலுள்ள கோபத்தையும் போக்கி விடுவான்; தான் நாடியவரின் தவ்பாவை (மன்னிப்புக் கோருதலை) ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறான். அல்லாஹ் (எல்லாம்) அறிந்தவனாகவும், (பூரண) ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

and some are kept waiting for allah’s command – he may punish them or accept their repentance; and allah is all knowing, wise.
அல்லாஹ்வின் உத்தரவை எதிர்ப்பர்க்கப்படுகின்ற மற்றும் சிலரும் இருக்கிறார்கள். (அல்லாஹ்) அவர்களை தண்டிக்கலாம் அல்லது அவர்களை மன்னிக்கலாம். அல்லாஹ் அறிந்தவன்; ஞானம் மிக்கவன்.

(and they will be told), "this is what you were promised. it is for everyone who turned in repentance to god, kept his promise,
"இது தான் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கப்பட்டதா(ன சுவர்க்கமா)கும்; எப்பொழுதும் இறைவனையே நோக்கி, (பாவத்தை தவிர்த்துப்) பேணி நடந்த ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் (இது உரியது)."

allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.
மேலும் அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்குப் பாவமன்னிப்பு அளிக்க விரும்புகிறான்;. ஆனால் தங்கள் (கீழ்தரமான) இச்சைகளைப் பின்பற்றி நடப்பவர்களோ நீங்கள் (நேரான வழியிலிருந்து திரும்பி பாவத்திலேயே) முற்றிலும் சாய்ந்துவிட வேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறார்கள்.

"but ask forgiveness of your lord, and turn unto him (in repentance): for my lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness."
"ஆகவே உங்களுடைய இறைவனிடம் நீங்கள் மன்னிப்புக் கோரி இன்னும் அவனிடமே தவ்பா செய்து (அவன் பக்கமே) மீளுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக என்னுடைய இறைவன் மிக்க கிருபையுடையவனாகவும், பிரியமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்" (என்று கூறினார்).

(a voice will say:) "this is what was promised for you,- for every one who turned (to allah) in sincere repentance, who kept (his law),
"இது தான் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கப்பட்டதா(ன சுவர்க்கமா)கும்; எப்பொழுதும் இறைவனையே நோக்கி, (பாவத்தை தவிர்த்துப்) பேணி நடந்த ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் (இது உரியது)."
