கூறுவீராக, "நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வை விட்டும் ஒருவரும் என்னைப் பாதுகாக்க மாட்டார்; இன்னும், அவனையன்றி ஒதுங்குந் தலத்தையும் நான் காணமுடியாது.

and when ibrahim said: my lord! make this city secure, and save me and my sons from worshipping idols:
நினைவு கூறுங்கள்! "என் இறைவனே! இந்த ஊரை (மக்காவை சமாதானமுள்ளதாய்) அச்சந்தீர்ந்ததாய் ஆக்குவாயாக! என்னையும், என் மக்களையும் சிலைகளை நாங்கள் வணங்குவதிலிருந்து காப்பாற்றுவாயாக!" என்று இப்ராஹீம் கூறியதை (நபியே! நீர் அவர்களுக்கு நினைவு கூறும்).

say, “no one will ever save me from allah, and other than him, i will not find any refuge.”
கூறுவீராக, "நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வை விட்டும் ஒருவரும் என்னைப் பாதுகாக்க மாட்டார்; இன்னும், அவனையன்றி ஒதுங்குந் தலத்தையும் நான் காணமுடியாது.

lo! i, even i, am allah, there is no allah save me. so serve me and establish worship for my remembrance.
"நிச்சயமாக நாம் தான் அல்லாஹ்! என்னைத் தவிர வேறு நாயன் இல்லை, ஆகவே, என்னையே நீர் வணங்கும், என்னை தியானிக்கும் பொருட்டு தொழுகையை நிலைநிறுத்துவீராக.

shall i take beside him gods when, if the compassionate should intend me any harm, their intercession will avail me not at all, nor would they save me?
"அவனையன்றி வேறு நாயனை நான் எடுத்துக் கொள்வேனா? அர்ரஹ்மான் எனக்கு ஏதேனும் கெடுதியைக் கொண்டு நாடினால், இவற்றின் சிபாரிசு ஒரு பயனும் எனக்கு அளிக்காது. இவை என்னை விடுவிக்கவும் முடியா.

so moses departed from the city, fearful and vigilant, and prayed, "my lord, save me from these unjust people."
ஆகவே, அவர் பயத்துடனும், கவனமாகவும் அ(ந் நகரத்)தை விட்டுக் கிளம்பி விட்டார்; "என் இறைவா! இந்த அக்கிரமக்கார சமூகத்தாரை விட்டும் நீ என்னைக் காப்பாற்றுவாயாக!" என்று பிரார்த்தித்தார்.

he sendeth down the angels with the spirit of his command unto whom he will of his bondmen, (saying): warn mankind that there is no allah save me, so keep your duty unto me.
அவன் மலக்குகளிடம் வஹீயைக் கொடுத்துத் தன் அடியார்களில் தான் நாடியவர் மீது (அனுப்பி வைத்து,) "நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) நாயன், என்னைத்தவிர வேறுயாருமில்லை ஆகையால் நீங்கள் எனக்கே அஞ்சுங்கள் என (மக்களுக்கு) எச்சரிக்கை செய்யுங்கள்" என்ற கட்டளையுடன் (மலக்குகளை) இறக்கி வைக்கிறான்.

and we sent no messenger before thee but we inspired him, (saying): there is no allah save me (allah), so worship me.
(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்னர் நாம் அனுப்பிய ஒவ்வொரு தூதரிடமும்; "நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) நாயன் என்னைத் தவிர வேறு எவருமில்லை எனவே, என்னையே நீங்கள் வணங்குங்கள்" என்று நாம் வஹீ அறிவிக்காமலில்லை.
