he said: by thy majesty, then, i shall surely seduce them, all.
அப்பொழுது "உன் கண்ணியத்தின் மீது சத்தியமாக, நிச்சயமாக நான் அவர்கள் யாவரையும் வழிகெடுப்பேன்" என்று (இப்லீஸ்) கூறினான்.

satan, trying to seduce him, said, "adam, do you want me to show you the tree of eternity and the everlasting kingdom?"
ஆனால், ஷைத்தான் அவருக்கு (ஊசலாட்டத்தையும்) குழப்பத்தையும் உண்டாக்கி "ஆதமே! நித்திய வாழ்வளிக்கும் மரத்தையும், அழிவில்லாத அரசாங்கத்தையும் உமக்கு நான் அறிவித்துத் தரவா?" என்று கேட்டான்.

he said, "by your glory, i shall seduce all of them (children of adam).
அப்பொழுது "உன் கண்ணியத்தின் மீது சத்தியமாக, நிச்சயமாக நான் அவர்கள் யாவரையும் வழிகெடுப்பேன்" என்று (இப்லீஸ்) கூறினான்.

he (satan) said: 'i swear by your might, that i will seduce all of them
அப்பொழுது "உன் கண்ணியத்தின் மீது சத்தியமாக, நிச்சயமாக நான் அவர்கள் யாவரையும் வழிகெடுப்பேன்" என்று (இப்லீஸ்) கூறினான்.

if satan will try to seduce you, seek refuge from god. god is all-hearing and all-knowing.
ஷைத்தான் ஏதாவதொரு (தவறான) எண்ணத்தை உம் மனத்தில் ஊசலாடச் செய்து (தவறு செய்ய உம்மைத்) தூண்டினால், அப்போது அல்லாஹ்விடம் பாதுகாப்புத் தேடுவீராக! மெய்யாகவே அவன் செவியேற்பவனாகவும், (யாவற்றையும் நன்கு) அறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

then satan said, "because you have made me go astray, i shall certainly try to seduce people into straying from the right path.
(அதற்கு இப்லீஸ்) "நீ என்னை வழி கெட்டவனாக (வெளியேற்றி) விட்டதன் காரணத்தால், (ஆதமுடைய சந்ததியரான) அவர்கள் உன்னுடைய நேரான பாதையில் (செல்லாது தடுப்பதற்காக அவ்வழியில்) உட்கார்ந்து கொள்வேன்" என்று கூறினான்.

he said: my lord! because thou hast led me to err i will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all:
(அதற்கு இப்லீஸ்,) "என் இறைவனே! என்னை நீ வழிகேட்டில் விட்டுவிட்டதால், நான் இவ்வுலகில் (வழி கேட்டைத்தரும் அனைத்தையும்) அவர்களுக்கு அழகாகத் தோன்றும்படி செய்து (அதன் மூலமாக) அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் வழிகெடுத்தும் விடுவேன்.

joseph said, "it was she who sought to seduce me." one of her household testified, "if his shirt is torn at the front then she is speaking the truth, and he is lying.

she said, "this is the one on whose account you subjected me to all this blame. i tried to seduce him but he abstained. if he does not yield to me, i shall order him to be locked up in prison to make him humble."
