நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் (பாதையிலும்) அலைந்து திரிவதை (நபியே!) நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா?

your lord knows best who stray from his path and the guided.
நிச்சயமாக தன்னுடைய நல்வழியை விட்டுத்தவறியவன் யார் என்பதை உம் இறைவன் நன்கு அறிவான் - அவ்வாறே நல்வழியில் செல்பவர்கள் யார் என்பதையும் அவன் நன்கு அறிவான்.

and assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients.
இன்னும், இவர்களுக்கு முன்னரும் அப்பண்டைய மக்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் வழி கெட்டிருந்தனர்.

said he, 'indeed i did it then, being one of those that stray;
(மூஸா) கூறினார்; "நான் தவறியவர்களில் (ஒருவனாக) இருந்த நிலையில் அதைச் செய்துவிட்டேன்.

o believers, do not stray from the path of god, and be with those who are truthful.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சுங்கள்; மேலும் உண்மையாளர்களுடன் நீங்களும் ஆகிவிடுங்கள்.

indeed your lord knows best those who stray from his way, and he knows best those who are guided.
உம்முடைய இறைவன் அவனுடைய வழியை விட்டுத் தவறியவர்கள் யார் என்பதை நிச்சயமாக நன்கறிவான்; (அது போன்றே) நேர்வழி பெற்றோரையும் அவன் நன்கறிவான்.

and they will proffer sub mission unto allah on that day, and there will stray from them that which they have been fabricating.
இன்னும், அந்நாளில் அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அடிபணிவார்கள்; பின்னர் இவர்கள் இட்டுக் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்தவையெல்லாம் இவர்களை(க் கை) விட்டும் மறைந்து விடும்.

if thou art anxious for their guidance, yet allah guideth not such as he leaves to stray, and there is none to help them.
(நபியே!) அவர்கள் நேர்வழி பெற்றிடவேண்டுமென்று நீர் பேராவல் கொண்ட போதிலும், அல்லாஹ் யாரை வழிதவற வைத்தானோ அத்தகையோரை நேர்வழியில் சேர்க்க மாட்டான் - இன்னும் அவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்வோரும் எவருமில்லை.

he (moses) replied: 'indeed, i did that when i was among those who stray.
(மூஸா) கூறினார்; "நான் தவறியவர்களில் (ஒருவனாக) இருந்த நிலையில் அதைச் செய்துவிட்டேன்.

that is allah, your lord, the creator of all things, there is no god except him. then where do you stray?
அவன் தான் உங்கள் அல்லாஹ் - உங்கள் இறைவன் - எல்லாப் பொருட்களையும் படைப்பவன் - அவனைத் தவிர வேறு நாயனில்லை எனவே நீங்கள் (சத்தியத்தை விட்டும்) எங்கு திருப்பப்படுகிறீர்கள்?

and allah would not let a people stray after he has guided them until he makes clear to them what they should avoid. indeed, allah is knowing of all things.
எந்தவொரு சமுதாயத்திற்கும் அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழி காட்டிய பின் அவர்கள் தவிர்ந்து கொள்ள வேண்டியவைகளை அவர்களுக்கு தெளிவுபடுத்தும் வரை அவர்களை அவன் வழி கெடுப்பவனாக இல்லை. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எல்லாப் பொருள்களையும் அறிந்தவன்.

surely those who disbelieve after they have believed and then increase in unbelief -- their repentance shall not be accepted; those are the ones who stray.
எவர் ஈமான் கொண்ட பின் நிராகரித்து மேலும் (அந்த) குஃப்ரை அதிகமாக்கிக் கொண்டார்களோ, நிச்சயமாக அவர்களுடைய தவ்பா - மன்னிப்புக்கோரல் - ஒப்புக்கொள்ளப்பட மாட்டாது. அவர்கள் தாம் முற்றிலும் வழி கெட்டவர்கள்.

if you ask them, ‘who created them?’ they will surely say, ‘allah.’ then where do they stray?
மேலும், அவர்களிடம் யார் அவர்களைப் படைத்தது என்று நீர் கேட்டால் "அல்லாஹ்" என்றே அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக கூறுவார்கள்; அவ்வாறிக்கும் போது (அவனைவிட்டு) அவர்கள் எங்கு திருப்பப்படுகிறார்கள்?

and no protectors have they to help them, other than allah. and for any whom allah leaves to stray, there is no way (to the goal).
(அந்நாளில்) அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி அவர்களுக்கு உதவிபுரியும் உபகாரிகளில் எவரும் இருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; அன்றியும், அல்லாஹ் எவரை வழிகேட்டில் விட்டுவிடுகிறானோ அவருக்கு வேறுவழியொன்றுமில்லை.

"a day when ye shall turn your backs and flee: no defender shall ye have from allah: any whom allah leaves to stray, there is none to guide...
"அல்லாஹ்வை விட்டும் உங்களைக் காப்பாற்றுபவர் எவருமில்லாத நிலையில் நீங்கள் பின் வாங்கும் நாள் (அது) அன்றியும் அல்லாஹ் யாரைத் தவறான வழியில் விட்டுவிடுகின்றானோ, அவனுக்கு நேர்வழி காட்டுவோர் எவருமில்லை.

for they say: "the fire will not touch us for more than a few days." they have been deceived by the lies they have themselves fabricated, and stray from their faith.
இதற்குக் காரணம்; எண்ணிக் கணக்கிடப்பட்ட (சில) நாட்களே தவிர (நரக) நெருப்பு எப்போதைக்கும் எங்களைத் தீண்டாது என்று அவர்கள் கூறிக் கொண்டிருப்பதுதான.; (இது) தவிர அவர்கள் தம் மார்க்க(விஷய)த்தில் பொய்யாகக் கற்பனை செய்து கூறிவந்ததும் அவர்களை ஏமாற்றி விட்டது.

"and to you there came joseph in times gone by, with clear signs, but ye ceased not to doubt of the (mission) for which he had come: at length, when he died, ye said: 'no messenger will allah send after him.' thus doth allah leave to stray such as transgress and live in doubt,-
"மேலும், முற்காலத்தில் திட்டமாக யூஸுஃப் தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளுடன் உங்களிடம் வந்தார், எனினும் அவர் இறந்து விடும் வரையில், அவர் உங்களிடம் கொண்டு வந்ததைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் சந்தேகத்திலேயே இருந்தீர்கள்; இறுதியில் (அவர் இறந்தபின்) "அவருக்குப் பின் எந்த ரஸூலையும் (தூதரையும்) அல்லாஹ் அனுப்பவே மாட்டான்" என்றும் கூறினீர்கள்; இவ்வாறே, எவர் வரம்பு மீறிச் சந்தேகிக்கிறாரோ அவரை அல்லாஹ் வழிகேட்டில் விட்டு விடுகிறான்.
