நல்லவற்றை (அவை நல்லவையென்று) உண்மையாக்குகின்றாரோ,

இன்னும் (அவனுடைய மனைவி குற்றத்தை மறுத்து) தன் மீதுள்ள தண்டனையை விலக்க, "நிச்சயமாக அவன் பொய்யர்களில் நின்றுமுள்ளவன்" என்று அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியம் செய்து நான்கு முறை கூறி

and as for those who have set up a mosque for hurting and blaspheming and the causing of division among the believers and as a lurking-place for one who hath warred against allah and his apostle aforetime, and surely; they will swear: we intended only good, whereas allah testifieth that they are liars.
இன்னும் (இஸ்லாம் மார்க்கத்திற்குத்) தீங்கிழைக்கவும், குஃப்ருக்கு (நிராகரிப்புக்கு) உதவி செய்யவும், முஃமின்களிடையே பிளவு உண்டுபன்னவும், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் விரோதமாய்ப் போர்புரிந்தவர்களுக்கு புகலிடமாகவும் ஆக்க ஒரு மஸ்ஜிதை முன்னர் நிறுவியவர்கள்; "நாங்கள் நல்லதையே யன்றி (வேறொன்றும்) விரும்பவில்லை" என்று நிச்சயமாகச் சத்தியம் செய்வார்கள் - ஆனால் அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாகப் பொய்யர்கள் என்பதற்கு அல்லாஹ்வே சாட்சியம் கூறுகிறான்.
