இன்னும், முந்தைய தலைமுறையார்களை நாம் அழித்தபின் திடனாக மூஸாவுக்கு(த் தவ்றாத்) வேதத்தைக் கொடுத்தோம் - மனிதர் (சிந்தித்து) உபதேசம் பெறும் பொருட்டு அவர்களுக்கு ஞானப்பிரகாசங்களாகவும், நேர்வழி காட்டியாகவும் அருட் கொடையாகவும் (அது இருந்தது).

and as for those who accuse their wives and there are not for them witnesses except themselves, the testimony of one of them shall be four testimonies by allah: that verily he is of the truth-tellers
எவர்கள் தம் மனைவிமார்களை அவதூறு கூறி (அதை நிரூபிக்கத்) தங்களையன்றி அவர்களிடம் வேறு சாட்சிகள் இல்லாமலிருந்தால் அவன், நிச்சயமாக தாம் உண்மையே கூறுவதாக அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது நான்கு முறை சத்தியம் செய்து கூறி

(muhammad), ask them, "what is the greatest testimony? god testifies of my truthfulness to you. he has revealed this quran to me to warn you and the coming generations (against disobeying god). do you believe that other gods exist besides god? i solemnly declare that he is the only lord and that i am not guilty of believing in what the pagans believe."
(நபியே!) "சாட்சியத்தில் மிகவும் பெரியது எது?" எனக் கேளும்; "அல்லாஹ்வே எனக்கும் உங்களுக்குமிடையே சாட்சியாக இருக்கின்றான்; இந்த குர்ஆன் எனக்கு வஹீயாக அருளப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதைக் கொண்டு உங்களையும், (இதை அடைந்தவர்களையும் நான் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காக நிச்சயமாக வணக்கத்திற்குரிய வேறு தெய்வங்களும் அல்லாஹ்வுடன் இருப்பதாக நீங்கள் சாட்சி கூறமுடியுமா? (என்று அவரிடம் கேட்பீராக) "இல்லை! நான் (அவ்வாறு) சாட்சி சொல்ல முடியாது என்றும் கூறுவீராக வணக்கத்திற்குரியவன் நிச்சயமாக அவன் ஒருவன் தான்; அவனுக்கு நீங்கள் இணைவைப்பதிலிருந்து நான் நிச்சயமாக விலகிக் கொண்டவனே" என்று கூறிவிடும்.
