this is the torment that you persistently doubted".
"நிச்சயமாக இதுதான் நீங்கள் சந்தேகித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களே அதுவாகும்" (என்று அவர்களிடம் சொல்லப்படும்).

that you may follow therein roads of passage.' "
"அதில் நீங்கள் செல்வதற்காக விசாலமான பாதைகளையும் அமைத்தான்" (என்றும் போதித்தார்).

நீங்கள் ஒரு நிலையிலிருந்து மற்றொரு நிலைக்கு நிச்சயமாக ஏறிப்போவீர்கள்.

the village arabs are more obstinate in disbelief and hypocrisy, and impervious to ordinances revealed to his apostle by god; yet god is aware of everything and is wise.
காட்டரபிகள் குஃபிரிலும் (நிராகரிப்பிலும்) நயவஞ்சத்திலும் மிகவும் கொடியவர்கள்; அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய தூதர் மீது அருளியிருக்கும் வேதத்தின் வரம்புகளை அவர்கள் அறியாதிருக்கவே தகுதியானவர்கள். இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் (எல்லாம்) அறிந்தவனாகவும்; ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

the dwellers of the desert are the hardest in infidelity and hypocrisy and likeliest not to know the ordinances of that which allah hath sent down unto his apostle. and allah is knowing, wise.
காட்டரபிகள் குஃபிரிலும் (நிராகரிப்பிலும்) நயவஞ்சத்திலும் மிகவும் கொடியவர்கள்; அல்லாஹ் தன்னுடைய தூதர் மீது அருளியிருக்கும் வேதத்தின் வரம்புகளை அவர்கள் அறியாதிருக்கவே தகுதியானவர்கள். இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் (எல்லாம்) அறிந்தவனாகவும்; ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

in their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and allah has increased their disease. a painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.
அவர்களுடைய இதயங்களில் ஒரு நோயுள்ளது, அல்லாஹ் (அந்த) நோயை அவர்களுக்கு இன்னும் அதிகமாக்கி விட்டான்; மேலும் அவர்கள் பொய்சொல்லும் காரணத்தினால் அவர்களுக்குத் துன்பந்தரும் வேதனையும் உண்டு.
