let not those who are niggardly of things that god has given them of his largesse think that this is good for them. in fact, it is worse; for what they grudged will be hung around their necks on the day of resurrection. to god belong the heavens and the earth, and god is aware of all you do.
அல்லாஹ் தன் அருளினால் தங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கும் பொருட்களில் யார் உலோபத்தனம் செய்கிறார்களோ அது தமக்கு நல்லது என்று (அவர்கள்) நிச்சயமாக எண்ண வேண்டாம் - அவ்வாறன்று! அது அவர்களுக்குத் தீங்குதான்;. அவர்கள் உலோபத்தனத்தால் சேர்த்து வைத்த (பொருட்கள்) எல்லாம் மறுமையில் அவர்கள் கழுத்தில் அரிகண்டமாக போடப்படும்;. வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றில் (இருக்கும் அனைத்துக்கும்) அனந்தர பாத்தியதை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியதாகும். அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றையெல்லாம் அறிகிறான்.
