it is not for any believer, man or woman, when god and his messenger have decided a matter, to have liberty of choice in their decision. whoever disobeys god and his messenger has gone far astray.

that he may forgive some of your sins and prolong your term till an appointed time. surely when god's appointed time is come it will not be put off, if only you knew!
"(இவ்வாறு நீங்கள் நடந்தால்) உங்களுடைய பாவங்களை அவன் மன்னிப்பான்; மேலும் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தவணைவரை அவன் உங்களுக்கு அவகாசமளிப்பான்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் தவணை வரும்போது, அது பிற்படுத்தப்படமாட்டாது - (இதை) நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொண்டவர்களாக இருந்தால்" (என்றும் கூறினார்).

and how could you disbelieve, when god’s revelations are being recited to you, and among you is his messenger? whoever cleaves to god has been guided to a straight path.
அவனுடைய ரஸூல் உங்களிடையே இருந்து கொண்டு; - அல்லாஹ்வின் ஆயத்கள் உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கக்கூடிய (நிலையில்) இருந்து கொண்டு, நீங்கள் எவ்வாறு நிராகரிப்பீர்கள்? மேலும், எவர் அல்லாஹ்வை (அவன் மார்க்கத்தை) வலுவாகப் பற்றிக் கொள்கிறாரோ, அவர் நிச்சயமாக நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தப்பட்டுவிட்டார்.

[they will be told], "this is because when god alone was invoked you denied the truth, yet when others were associated with him you believed in them." judgement rests with god, the most high, the most great.
(பதில் கூறப்படும்;) "அதற்குக் காரணம் அல்லாஹ் ஒருவனே (வணக்கத்திற்குரியவன்; எனவே அவனை வணங்குங்கள்) என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட போது நீங்கள் நிராகரித்தீர்கள்; ஆனால், அவனுக்கு (எதையும்) இணையாக்கப்பட்டால் (அதன் மீது) நீங்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டீர்கள்; ஆகவே இத்தீர்ப்பு மிக்க மேலானவனும், மகாப் பெரியவனுமான அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது."
