so whosoever willeth may heed it.
(எனவே நல்லுபதேசம் பெற) எவர் விரும்புகிறாரோ அவர் இதை நினைவில் வைத்துக் கொள்ளட்டும்,

unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight.
உங்களில் நின்றும் யார் நேர்வழியை விரும்புகிறாரோ, அவருக்கு (நல்லுபதேசமாகும்).

so whosoever willeth-let him be admonished therewlth.
எனவே, எவர் விரும்புகிறாரோ அவர் அதை நினைவு கொள்வார்.

yet ye will not, unless allah willeth. lo! allah is knower, wise.
எனினும், அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலன்றி, நீங்கள் நாட மாட்டீர்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்தவன், ஞானம் மிக்கவன்.

and ye shall not will unless it be that allah, the lord of the worlds, willeth.
ஆயினும், அகிலங்களுக்கெல்லாம் இறைவனாகிய அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலன்றி நீங்கள் (நல்லுபதேசம் பெற) நாடமாட்டீர்கள்.

and they shall not heed unless allah willeth. he is the lord of piety. and the lord of forgiveness
இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலன்றி அவர்கள் நல்லுபதேசம் பெற முடியாது. அவனே (நம்) பயபக்திக்குரியவன், அவனே (நம்மை) மன்னிப்பதற்கும் உரிமையுடையவன்.

save that which allah willeth. lo! he knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden;
அல்லாஹ் நாடியதை அல்லாமல் - நிச்சயமாக, அவன் வெளிப்படையானதையும் மறைந்திருப்பதையும் அறிகிறான்.

abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy lord willeth. lo! thy lord is doer of what he will.
உம் இறைவன் நாடினாலன்றி, வானங்களும் பூமியும் நீடிக்கும் காலமெல்லாம் அவர்கள் அ(ந்நரகத்)திலேயே நிலைபெற்று விடுவார்கள்; நிச்சயமாக உம் இறைவன் தான் நாடியதைச் செய்து முடிப்பவன்.

he sendeth down the angels with the spirit by his command upon whomsoever of his bondmen he willeth: warn that there is no god but i, wherefore fear me.
அவன் மலக்குகளிடம் வஹீயைக் கொடுத்துத் தன் அடியார்களில் தான் நாடியவர் மீது (அனுப்பி வைத்து,) "நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) நாயன், என்னைத்தவிர வேறுயாருமில்லை ஆகையால் நீங்கள் எனக்கே அஞ்சுங்கள் என (மக்களுக்கு) எச்சரிக்கை செய்யுங்கள்" என்ற கட்டளையுடன் (மலக்குகளை) இறக்கி வைக்கிறான்.

and those who belie our signs are deaf and dumb, in darkness. whomsoever allah willeth he sendeth astray, and whomsoever he willeth he putteth on the right path.
நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்ப்பிப்பவர்கள் (குஃப்ரு என்னும்) இருள்களில் செவிடர்களாகவும், ஊமையர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர்; அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களைத் தவறான வழியில் செல்ல விட்டு விடுகிறான்; இன்னும் அவன் நாடியவரை நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துகின்றான்.

thy lord bringeth to pass what he willeth and chooseth. they have never any choice. glorified be allah and exalted above all that they associate (with him)!
மேலும், உம்முடைய இறைவன், தான் நாடியதைப் படைக்கிறான்; (தூதராகத் தான் நாடியோரைத்) தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொள்கிறான். (எனவே இத்தகு) தேர்ந்தெடுத்தல் இவர்களு(க்கு உரிமையு)டையதல்ல அல்லாஹ் மிகத் தூய்மையானவன்; இவர்கள் இணை வைப்பதை விட்டும் அவன் மிகவும் உயர்ந்தவன்.

and remind them of the day whereon the trumpet shall be blown, and affrighted will be those who are in the heavens and the earth, save him whom allah willeth. and all shall come unto him, lowly.
இன்னும் ஸூர் (எக்காளம்) ஊதப்படும் நாளை (நபியே! நீர் நினைவூட்டுவீராக அந்நாளில்) அல்லாஹ் நாடியவர்களைத் தவிர, வானங்களில் இருப்வர்களும், பூமியில் இருப்பவர்களும் திகிலடைந்து விடுவார்கள்; அவ்வனைவரும் பணிந்தவர்களாக அவனிடம் வருவார்கள்.

allah enlargeth the provision for whomsoever he willeth and, stinteth. and they exult in the life of the world, whereas the life of the world, by the side of the hereafter, is only a passing enjoyment.
அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவருக்கு சம்பத்தை விசாலமாக்குகிறான்; (தான் நாடியவருக்கு) அளவிட்டுக் கொடுக்கின்றான்; எனினும் அவர்கள் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறார்கள் - இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையோ மறுமைக்கு ஒப்பிடாமல் மிகவும் அற்பமேயன்றி வேறில்லை.

and had allah expanded the provision for his bondmen they surely would have rebelled in the earth, but he sendeth down by measure as he willeth; verily he is, in respect of his bondmen. aware and beholder.
அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களுக்கு, உணவு (மற்றும் வசதிகளை) விரிவாக்கி விட்டால், அவர்கள் பூமியியல் அட்டூழியம் செய்யத் தலைப்பட்டு விடுவார்கள்; ஆகவே அவன், தான் விரும்பிய அளவு கொடுத்து வருகின்றான்; நிச்சயமாக அவன் தன் அடியார்களை நன்கறிபவன்; (அவர்கள் செயலை) உற்று நோக்குபவன்.

"of no profit will be my counsel to you, much as i desire to give you (good) counsel, if it be that allah willeth to leave you astray: he is your lord! and to him will ye return!"
"நான் உங்களுக்கு நல்லுபதேசம் செய்யக்கருதினாலும், உங்களை வழிகேட்டிலேயே விட்டு வைக்க அல்லாஹ் நாடியிருந்தால், என்னுடைய நல்லுபதேசம் உங்களுக்கு (பாதொரு) பலனும் அளிக்காது; அவன்தான் (உங்களைப் படைத்துப் பரிபாலிக்கும்) உங்களுடைய இறைவன்; அவனிடமே நீங்கள் மீண்டும் கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்" (என்றும் கூறினார்).
