deem not the summons of the messenger among yourselves like the summons of one of you to another: allah doth know those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous penalty be inflicted on them.
(முஃமின்களே!) உங்களில் ஒருவர் மற்றொருவரை அழைப்பதுபோல் உங்களுக்கிடையில் (அல்லாஹ்வுடைய) தூதரின் அழைப்பை ஆக்காதீர்கள். உங்களிலிருந்து (அவருடைய சபையிலிருந்து) எவர் மறைவாக நழுவி விடுகிறார்களோ அவர்களை திடமாக அல்லாஹ் (நன்கு) அறிவான் - ஆகவே எவர் அவருடைய கட்டளைக்கு மாறு செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தங்களை சோதனை பிடித்துக் கொள்வதையோ, அல்லது தங்களை நோவினை தரும் வேதனை பிடித்துக் கொள்வதையோ அஞ்சிக் கொள்ளட்டும்.
