we are they that give glory.
และแท้จริง เรานั้นเป็นผู้แซ่ซ้องสดุดีอัลลอฮฺ

concerning what are they disputing?
พวกเขาต่างถามกันถึงเรื่องอะไร ?

what are they asking (one another)?
พวกเขาต่างถามกันถึงเรื่องอะไร ?

these are they who are the heirs,
ชนเหล่านี้แหละพวกเขาเป็นทายาท

it is not for them, nor are they able.
และไม่เป็นการเหมาะสมแก่พวกมันและพวกมันก็ไม่สามารถด้วย

those are they who will be brought nigh
เขาเหล่านั้น คือบรรดาผู้ใกล้ชิด

and we are they who exalt (allah)'
และแท้จริง เรานั้นเป็นผู้แซ่ซ้องสดุดีอัลลอฮฺ

about what are they asking one another?
พวกเขาต่างถามกันถึงเรื่องอะไร ?

nor are they suffered to put forth excuses.
และจะไม่เปิดโอกาสให้แก่พวกเขาเพื่อแก้ตัว

so are they being impatient for our punishment?
พวกเขาเร่งรีบต่อการลงโทษของเรากระนั้นหรือ?

lo! we, even we are they who hymn his praise
และแท้จริง เรานั้นเป็นผู้แซ่ซ้องสดุดีอัลลอฮฺ

lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks,
และแท้จริง เรานั้นเป็นผู้ที่ยืนเข้าแถวอยู่แล้ว

even so perverted are they who deny the signs of god.
เช่นนั้นแหละ บรรดาผู้ที่ปฏิเสธต่อสัญญาณทั้งหลายของอัลลอฮฺ จะถูกทำให้หันเหออก (จากสัจธรรม)

these are they who are drawn nigh (to allah),
เขาเหล่านั้น คือบรรดาผู้ใกล้ชิด

and most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks,
และแท้จริง เรานั้นเป็นผู้ที่ยืนเข้าแถวอยู่แล้ว

neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it,
และไม่เป็นการเหมาะสมแก่พวกมันและพวกมันก็ไม่สามารถด้วย

have they not been created by aught, or are they the creators?
หรือว่าพวกเขาถูกบังเกิดมาโดยไม่มีผู้ให้บังเกิด หรือว่าพวกเขาเป็นผู้ให้บังเกิดตนเอง

are with them the treasures of thy lord! or are they the dispensers?
หรือว่าพวกเขามีขุมทรัพย์แห่งพระเจ้าของเจ้า หรือว่าพวกเขาเป็นผู้มีอำนาจจัดการ

and when they saw them said: 'these are they who are astray'
และเมื่อพวกเขาเห็นบรรดาผู้ศรัทธาพวกเขาก็กล่าวว่า แท้จริงชนเหล่านี้เป็นผู้หลงทางแน่นอน

do they possess the treasures of your lord? or are they the treasurers?
หรือว่าพวกเขามีขุมทรัพย์แห่งพระเจ้าของเจ้า หรือว่าพวกเขาเป็นผู้มีอำนาจจัดการ
