and how canst thou have patience over that which thy knowledge encompasseth not

how canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge?
“และท่านจะอดทนอย่างได้อย่างไร ในสิ่งที่ท่านไม่มีความรู้อย่างละเอียดลออ?”

canst thou fill his skin with barbed iron? or his head with fish spears?
เจ้าเอาฉมวกปักหนังของมัน หรือเอาหลาวแทงหัวของมันได้หรื

canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, here we are?

or the water thereof become deep sunken so that therefor thou canst not make a search.

he answered: "did i not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me?"

or some morning the water thereof will be lost in the earth so that thou canst not make search for it.

"and how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?"
“และท่านจะอดทนอย่างได้อย่างไร ในสิ่งที่ท่านไม่มีความรู้อย่างละเอียดลออ?”

and of them are some who hearken unto thee, so canst thou make the deaf hear, even though they apprehend not?
และในหมู่พวกเขามีผู้ฟัง (การอ่านอัลกุรอาน)ของเจ้า เจ้าจะให้คนหูหนวกได้ยินกระนั้นหรือ? และถึงแม้พวกเขาหูหนวก แต่ก็ไม่ใช้ปัญญา

wherefore canst thou make the deaf to hear, or canst thou guide the blind or him who is is error manifest?
แล้วเจ้าจะทำให้คนหูหนวกได้ยินหรือคนตาบอดได้เห็นทาง และผู้ที่อยู่ในการหลงผิดอย่างชัดแจ้งกระนั้นหรือ ?

nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height.
และอย่าเดินบนแผ่นดินอย่างเย่อหยิ่งแท้จริงเจ้าจะแยกแผ่นดินไม่ได้เลย และจะไม่บรรลุความสูงของภูเขา

lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee;
แท้จริงเจ้าจะไม่ทำให้คนตายได้ยิน และจะไม่ทำให้คนหูหนวกได้ยินการเรียกร้องเชิญชวนเมื่อพวกเขาหันหลังกลับ

allah it is who hath revealed the scripture with truth, and the balance. how canst thou know? it may be that the hour is nigh.
อัลลอฮฺคือผู้ประทานคัมภีร์นี้ (อัลกุรอาน) ลงมาด้วยความจริงและทรงประทานความสมดุล และอะไรเล่าจะทำให้เจ้ารู้ได้ บางทียามอวสานนี้อยู่ใกล้ ๆ นี่เอง

canst thou (muhammad) make the deaf to hear, or canst thou guide the blind or him who is in error manifest?
แล้วเจ้าจะทำให้คนหูหนวกได้ยินหรือคนตาบอดได้เห็นทาง และผู้ที่อยู่ในการหลงผิดอย่างชัดแจ้งกระนั้นหรือ ?

a stalwart of the jinn said: i will bring it thee before thou canst rise from thy place. lo! i verily am strong and trusty for such work.
ผู้ปรีชาสามารถล้ำเลิศคนหนึ่งของพวกญินได้กล่าวว่า “ฉันจะนำมันมาเสนอท่าน ก่อนที่ท่านจะลุกขึ้นจากที่นั่งของท่าน และแท้จริงฉันเป็นผู้มีพลังและไว้วางใจได้ในเรื่องนี้”

nor canst thou guide the blind out of their error. thou canst make none to hear save those who believe in our revelations so that they surrender (unto him).
และเจ้าก็มิใช่ผู้ชี้นำทางแก่คนตาบอดหลังจากการหลงทางของพวกเขา เจ้ามิได้ทำให้ผู้ใดได้ยิน นอกจากผู้ศรัทธาต่อสัญญาณทั้งหลายของเรา โดยที่พวกเขาเป็นผู้นอบน้อมยอมจำนน

and excite any of them whom thou canst with thy voice, and urge thy horse and foot against them, and be a partner in their wealth and children, and promise them. satan promiseth them only to deceive.
