and be not like those who forgot allah, so he made them forget themselves. those are the defiantly disobedient.

and certainly we gave a commandment to adam before, but he forgot; and we did not find in him any determination.

but when they forgot to remember the warning, we saved those who prohibited evil, but inflicted on the wicked a dreadful punishment -- requital for their disobedience.

[moses] said, "do not blame me for what i forgot and do not cover me in my matter with difficulty."

and it will be said, "today we will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this day of yours, and your refuge is the fire, and for you there are no helpers.

and it shall be said, 'today we do forget you, even as you forgot the encounter of this your day; and your refuge is the fire, and you shall have no helpers.

[allah] will say, "thus did our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this day be forgotten."

"taste ye then - for ye forgot the meeting of this day of yours, and we too will forget you - taste ye the penalty of eternity for your (evil) deeds!"
ดังนั้น พวกเจ้า (ชาวนรก) จงลิ้มรสเถิด เนื่องด้วยพวกเจ้าได้ลืมการชุมนุมกันในวันนี้ของพวกเจ้า แท้จริงเราก็ลืมพวกเจ้าด้วย และพวกเจ้าจงลิ้มรสการลงโทษอย่างตลอดกาลตามที่พวกเจ้าได้กระทำไว้เถิด
