(ถาม) ถึงข่าวอันยิ่งใหญ่สำคัญ

is it this statement that ye scorn,
และด้วยเรื่องนี้ (อัลกุรอาน) กระนั้นหรือที่พวกเจ้าปฏิเสธเย้ยหยัน?

(is it) of the great announcement
(ถาม) ถึงข่าวอันยิ่งใหญ่สำคัญ

is it a falsehood - gods beside allah - that ye desire?
“เพื่อความเท็จกระนั้นหรือ ที่พวกท่านปรารถนาพระเจ้าอื่นจากอัลลอฮฺ ?”

half of it, or lessen it a little,
ครึ่งหนึ่งของเวลากลางคืน หรือน้อยกว่านั้นเพียงเล็กน้อย

[is it] about the great tiding,
(ถาม) ถึงข่าวอันยิ่งใหญ่สำคัญ

"is it a falsehood- gods other than allah- that ye desire?
“เพื่อความเท็จกระนั้นหรือ ที่พวกท่านปรารถนาพระเจ้าอื่นจากอัลลอฮฺ ?”

"is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than allah that you seek?
“เพื่อความเท็จกระนั้นหรือ ที่พวกท่านปรารถนาพระเจ้าอื่นจากอัลลอฮฺ ?”

“ดังนั้น เราจะไม่ตาย

is it you who grew its tree, or is it we who create?
พวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ทำให้ต้นไม้ของมันงอกเงยขึ้นมา หรือว่าเราเป็นผู้ทำให้มันงอกขึ้นมา

is it you who cultivate it, or is it we who develop it?
พวกเจ้าทำให้มันงอกเงยขึ้นมา หรือว่าเราเป็นผู้ทำให้มันงอกเงยขึ้นมา?

abiding there for ever. happy is it as abode and station!
โดยพำนักอยู่ในนั้นอย่างถาวร เป็นที่พำนักและที่อาศัยที่น่าอภิรมย์แท้ ๆ

is it falsehood [as] gods other than allah you desire?
“เพื่อความเท็จกระนั้นหรือ ที่พวกท่านปรารถนาพระเจ้าอื่นจากอัลลอฮฺ ?”
