how many towns we have destroyed when they had been wrongdoers! so they lie fallen on their trellises, their wells neglected and their ruined palaces!
ฉะนั้นกี่เมืองมาแล้ว เราได้ทำลายมันโดยที่ชาวเมืองนั้นอธรรม และมันได้พังพาบลงมาและกี่บ่อนน้ำที่ถูกทอดทิ้ง และกี่ปราสาทสูงที่มั่นคง

and it shall be said: today we forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers:

lest a soul should say, "oh [how great is] my regret over what i neglected in regard to allah and that i was among the mockers."
