ลมหมุนออกมาจากห้องทิศใต้ และความหนาวมาจากลมเหนื

as the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
ลมหมุนผ่านไปฉันใด คนชั่วก็ไม่มีอีกฉันนั้น แต่คนชอบธรรมเป็นรากฐานที่อยู่เป็นนิตย

behold, the whirlwind of the lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.

behold, a whirlwind of the lord is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

for, behold, the lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

but i will kindle a fire in the wall of rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
แต่ เราจะจุดไฟขึ้นในกำแพงเมืองรับบาห์ และไฟจะเผาผลาญปราสาททั้งหลายของเมืองนั้นเสีย พร้อมด้วยเสียงโห่ร้องในวันทำศึก พร้อมด้วยพายุอันแรงกล้าในวันที่มีลมหมุ

do you feel secure that the one in heaven will not send against you a whirlwind to pelt you with stones, so that you will know how [true] my warning was?
หรือว่าพวกเจ้าจะปลอดภัยจากการที่พระผู้ทรงสถิตย์อยู่ ณ ฟากฟ้า จะทรงส่งลมหอบก้อนกรวดให้กระหน่ำมายัง พวกเจ้า แล้วพวกเจ้าจะได้รู้ว่าการตักเตือนของข้าเป็นเช่นใด ?

behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. woe unto us! for we are spoiled.
ดูเถิด เขาจะขึ้นมาเหมือนเมฆ รถรบของเขาจะเหมือนลมหมุน ม้าทั้งหลายของเขาเร็วยิ่งกว่านกอินทรี วิบัติแก่เราทั้งหลาย เพราะว่าเราจะต้องพินา

do you, then, feel secure against his causing you to be swallowed up by a tract of the earth, or letting loose a deadly whirlwind charged with stones towards you, and there you will find none to protect you?
พวกเจ้าจะปลอดภัยละหรือ หากพระองค์จะทรงให้ริมฝั่งนั้นถล่มลงไปกับพวกเจ้า หรือจะทรงส่งลมหอบกรวดกระหน่ำลงมาใส่พวกเจ้าแล้วพวกเจ้าจะไม่พบผู้ใดเป็นผู้คุ้มครองพวกเจ้าเลย

does any of you wish that he should have a garden with date-palms and vines and streams flowing underneath, and all kinds of fruit, while he is stricken with old age, and his children are not strong (enough to look after themselves)- that it should be caught in a whirlwind, with fire therein, and be burnt up? thus doth allah make clear to you (his) signs; that ye may consider.
มีคนใดในพวกเจ้าชอบบ้างไหมที่เขาจะมีสวน อินทผาลัม และองุ่น ซึ่งเบื้องล่างของสวนนั้นมีลำน้ำหลายสายไหลผ่าน ผลไม่ทั้งหมดในสวนนั้นเป็นของเขา และความชราได้ประสบแก่เขา และเขาก็มีลูก ๆ ที่ยังอ่อนแออยู่ แต่แล้วได้มีลมพายุประสบแก่สวนนั้น ซึ่งในลมพายุนั้นมีไฟด้วย แล้วมันเผามอดไหม้ไป ในทำนองนั้นแหละ อัลลอฮ์จึงทรงแจกแจงโองการทั้งหลายให้พวกเจ้าทราบ เพื่อว่าพวกเจ้าจะได้ใคร่ครวญ
