lazy, irresponsible, and immature, that is how most people would say defines a common day teenager. what causes this stereotype? not all people in their teenage years act completely recklessly. if a teenager was asked if they thought they were unproductive, forgetful, and premature, most would say no, especially those involved in school, sports, and whatever other activities. school, for teenagers who put in effort, is stressful and tiring. we have an undefined status in society, we are no longer children, but we are also not considered adults. nonetheless we deal with people more directly, having to grow up with our friends and others. the life of a teenager is not as easy as commonly perceived, especially in regard of our parents. we are practically expected to give respect to adults, which, granted, many of us do, but we don’t always get respect back. some teenagers can be sarcastic, or rude, therefore, how are we supposed to view ourselves, i would like to encourage society to have a better view of teenagers, it might encourage some improvement if we are given more respect and support. teenagers are not less productive than anyone else, therefore, should not be thought of as less important beings living
