a partir d´une recherche ethnographique sur l´inmigration et l´identité ethnique dans une ville industrielle (rentería) au pays basque, l´auteur analyse les donnés de la structure sociale et leur rélation complexe avec le systéme classificatoire de l´alterité ethnique, au context de construction du discourse de la ethnicité basque aux 80´.
the field work was carried out in rentería, an industrial town of the basque country, where the coming of migrants from other parts of spain changed the sociodemographic, linguistic and cultural landscape of the community. these changes became ´ethnically´ meaningful in the context of the building of the basque ethnic identity during the 80´s.
