ויעמדו הלוים בכלי דויד והכהנים בחצצרות׃
and the levites stood with the instruments of david, and the priests with the trumpets.

ויצא המלך וכל העם ברגליו ויעמדו בית המרחק׃
and the king went forth, and all the people after him, and tarried in a place that was far off.

ויעמדו הכהנים הגדולים והסופרים ויתחזקו לדבר עליו שטנה׃
and the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

ויבאו אמו ואחיו ויעמדו מחוץ לבית וישלחו אליו לקרא לו׃
there came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.

ויעמדו עליו שטניו ולא הביאו עליו דבר רע מאשר הייתי חשד אתו׃

וחמשים איש מבני הנביאים הלכו ויעמדו מנגד מרחוק ושניהם עמדו על הירדן׃
and fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by jordan.

והנבאתי כאשר צוני ותבוא בהם הרוח ויחיו ויעמדו על רגליהם חיל גדול מאד מאד׃
so i prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

וירדף דוד הוא וארבע מאות איש ויעמדו מאתים איש אשר פגרו מעבר את נחל הבשור׃

ויעמדו על עמדם כמשפטם כתורת משה איש האלהים הכהנים זרקים את הדם מיד הלוים׃
and they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of moses the man of god: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the levites.

ויקחו איש מחתתו ויתנו עליהם אש וישימו עליהם קטרת ויעמדו פתח אהל מועד ומשה ואהרן׃
and they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with moses and aaron.

ויקחו את פיח הכבשן ויעמדו לפני פרעה ויזרק אתו משה השמימה ויהי שחין אבעבעת פרח באדם ובבהמה׃
and they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before pharaoh; and moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast.

ויהי בהתפעם רוח פטרוס על המראה אשר ראה והנה האנשים השלוחים מאת קרניליוס שאלו לבית שמעון ויעמדו על הפתח׃
now while peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from cornelius had made inquiry for simon's house, and stood before the gate,

והיה כנוח כפות רגלי הכהנים נשאי ארון יהוה אדון כל הארץ במי הירדן מי הירדן יכרתון המים הירדים מלמעלה ויעמדו נד אחד׃
and it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the lord, the lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of jordan, that the waters of jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.

ויעמדו הכהנים נשאי הארון ברית יהוה בחרבה בתוך הירדן הכן וכל ישראל עברים בחרבה עד אשר תמו כל הגוי לעבר את הירדן׃
and the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of jordan, and all the israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over jordan.

וימאן לסור ויכהו אבנר באחרי החנית אל החמש ותצא החנית מאחריו ויפל שם וימת תחתו ויהי כל הבא אל המקום אשר נפל שם עשהאל וימת ויעמדו׃
howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where asahel fell down and died stood still.

ויעמדו על עזיהו המלך ויאמרו לו לא לך עזיהו להקטיר ליהוה כי לכהנים בני אהרן המקדשים להקטיר צא מן המקדש כי מעלת ולא לך לכבוד מיהוה אלהים׃
and they withstood uzziah the king, and said unto him, it appertaineth not unto thee, uzziah, to burn incense unto the lord, but to the priests the sons of aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the lord god.

וישלח מלך אשור את תרתן ואת רב סריס ואת רב שקה מן לכיש אל המלך חזקיהו בחיל כבד ירושלם ויעלו ויבאו ירושלם ויעלו ויבאו ויעמדו בתעלת הברכה העליונה אשר במסלת שדה כובס׃
and the king of assyria sent tartan and rabsaris and rab-shakeh from lachish to king hezekiah with a great host against jerusalem. and they went up and came to jerusalem. and when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller's field.
