from more simple structures like chalices to the procession cross and monumental reliquary, the exhibition also includes some rare works, as for example a portable altarolo, dating from roman times, the staff of s. john gualberto, a pendant in the shape of a pelican feeding its young, a crown set with semi-precious stones for a statue of the virgin. to document the various phases of intervention and the complexity of execution, five works are shown during the course of restoration: in the re-assembly phase, during cleaning and with the proposed integration of the missing parts.
