per il regista jukka silokunnas si tratta di un ultimo viaggio, ma è un percorso che avviene da fermo e la cui ultima tappa è la scomparsa mimetica nella natura. abbiamo visto al cinema barche salpare e affondare, ma mai scomparire come in questo disemboat – mot valise intraducibile che unisce il “dis” del disfacimento alla “boat” di barca.
for the director, jukka silokunnas, it is a last journey, but it is a process that takes place in stillness and whose last stop is camouflage in nature. we’ve seen boats sink and sail in films, but never disappear like in disemboat - an untranslatable portmanteau of “dis” (“disintegrate”) and “boat”. it’s not a simple disembarkation, but instead a kind of radical “disboat-ation”.
