et dixit ad puerum suum ascende et prospice contra mare qui cum ascendisset et contemplatus esset ait non est quicquam et rursum ait illi revertere septem vicibu
and said to his servant, go up now, look toward the sea. and he went up, and looked, and said, there is nothing. and he said, go again seven times.
