de afwijkende vertalingen die ik bij toeval op het spoor kwam, wijzen overigens meestal in omgekeerde richting: krasse en denigrerende beweringen over 'de duitsers' zijn in het nederlands afgezwakt of weggelaten (denk ook aan de hierboven vermelde afzwakking van titel, ondertitel en omslagfoto).
