indeed, we sent it down during a blessed night.

na haya ni makumbusho yaliyo barikiwa, tuliyo yateremsha.
and this [qur'an] is a blessed message which we have sent down.

na hichi ni kitabu tulicho kiteremsha, kilicho barikiwa.
and likewise we revealed this (book) - a blessed one.

na haya ni makumbusho yaliyo barikiwa, tuliyo yateremsha. basi je!
and this is a blessed message which we have sent down: will ye then reject it?

hakika tumekiteremsha katika usiku ulio barikiwa. hakika sisi ni waonyaji.
(that) we sent it down one night of blessing -- so that we could warn --

na tumeteremsha kutoka mbinguni maji yaliyo barikiwa, na kwa hayo tukaotesha mabustani na nafaka za kuvunwa.
and we brought down from the sky blessed water, and produced with it gardens and grain to harvest.

na hichi ni kitabu tulicho kiteremsha, kilicho barikiwa. basi kifuateni, na mchenimngu, ili mrehemewe.
and this (the qur’an) is the blessed book which we have sent down; so follow it and be pious, so there may be mercy upon you.

tungi lile ni kama nyota inayo meremeta, inayo washwa kwa mafuta yanayo toka katika mti ulio barikiwa, mzaituni.
the glass is as it were a shining star.

hakika nyumba ya kwanza walio wekewa watu kwa ibada ni ile iliyoko bakka, iliyo barikiwa na yenye uwongofu kwa walimwengu wote.
behold, the first house (of prayer) established for mankind is the one at bakkah: it is full of blessing and a centre of guidance for the whole world.

na hiki ni kitabu tulicho kiteremsha, kilicho barikiwa, chenye kuhakikisha yaliyo tangulia, na ili uuwonye mama wa miji na walio pembezoni mwake.
(like that book) this too is a book which we have revealed; full of blessing, confirming what was revealed before it so that you might warn the people of the mother of cities (makka) and those around it.

basi alipo ufikia aliitwa kutoka ng'ambo ya bonde la kuliani katika eneo lilio barikiwa kutoka kwenye mti: ewe musa!
and when he reached it, he was called from the right side of the valley in the blessed field, from the tree: o moses!
