as it is, they will not cease to dispute, --

na ndugu zao wanawavutia kwenye upotofu, kisha wao hawaachi.
but their brethren lead them relentlessly into error, and they never stop short.

na ikiwa hawaachi hayo wanayo yasema, kwa yakini itawakamata adhabu chungu wale wanao kufuru.
and if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them.

hali hakuna mungu ila mungu mmoja. na ikiwa hawaachi hayo wanayo yasema, kwa yakini itawakamata adhabu chungu wale wanao kufuru.
certainly they disbelieve who say: surely allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one allah, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve.

wala walio kufuru hawaachi kusibiwa na balaa kwa waliyo yatenda, au ikawateremkia karibu na nyumbani kwao, mpaka ifike ahadi ya mwenyezi mungu.
and a disaster will not cease to strike those who disbelieve because of their (evil) deeds or it (i.e. the disaster) settle close to their homes, until the promise of allah comes to pass.

wala walio kufuru hawaachi kusibiwa na balaa kwa waliyo yatenda, au ikawateremkia karibu na nyumbani kwao, mpaka ifike ahadi ya mwenyezi mungu. hakika mwenyezi mungu havunji miadi yake.
and a rattling adversity ceaseth not to befall those who disbelieve for that which they have wrought or to alight nigh unto their habitation. until allah's promise cometh; verily allah faileth not the tryst.

je, hawajajua walio amini kwamba lau kuwa mwenyezi mungu ange penda bila ya shaka angeli waongoa watu wote? wala walio kufuru hawaachi kusibiwa na balaa kwa waliyo yatenda, au ikawateremkia karibu na nyumbani kwao, mpaka ifike ahadi ya mwenyezi mungu.
and (as for) those who disbelieve, there will not cease to afflict them because of what they do a repelling calamity, or it will alight close by their abodes, until the promise of allah comes about; surely allah will not fail in (his) promise.
