na yaliyo kusibuni siku yalipo pambana majeshi mawili yalikuwa kwa idhini ya mwenyezi mungu, na ili awajue waumini.
and that which befell you on the day whereon the two hosts met was by allah's leave, and that he might know the believers.

je! mlikuwapo yalipo mfikia yaaqub mauti, akawaambia wanawe: mtamuabudu nani baada yangu?
in fact, some of you yourselves were present when death approached yaqub and when he said to his sons, “what will you worship after me?”

pale yalipo kufikilieni majeshi, nasi tukayapelekea upepo, na majeshi msiyo yaona. na mwenyezi mungu anayaona mnayo yatenda.
remember allah’s blessing upon you when the hosts came at you, and we sent against them a gale and hosts whom you did not see, and allah sees best what you do.

zikumbukeni neema za mwenyezi mungu zilio juu yenu. pale yalipo kufikilieni majeshi, nasi tukayapelekea upepo, na majeshi msiyo yaona.
o believers, remember god's blessing upon you when hosts came against you, and we loosed against them a wind, and hosts you saw not; and god sees the things you do.

yalipo onana majeshi mawili, akarudi nyuma, na akasema: mimi si pamoja nanyi. mimi naona msiyo yaona.
but when the two armies confronted one another and the pagans were defeated, then satan betrayed his friends saying, "i am not with you any more; i see what you do not see and i am afraid of god."
