and he loosed upon them birds in flights,

அர்ரஹ்மானாகிய நம்மிடத்தில் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களை நாம் கூட்டமாக ஒன்று சேர்க்கும் நாளில்;
on the day when we will gather the righteous to the most merciful, as guests.

அப்பால் (பகைப்படையின்) மத்தியில் கூட்டமாக நுழைந்து செல்பவற்றின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக-
and cleaving their way therein into the host,

"(என்னைவிட இவர் மேலாயிருப்பின்) ஏன் இவருக்கு பொன்னாலாகிய கங்கணங்கள் அணிவிக்கப்படவில்லை, அல்லது அவருடன் மலக்குகள் கூட்டமாக வர வேண்டாமா?"
"then why are not gold bracelets bestowed on him, or (why) come (not) with him angels accompanying him in procession?"

"மேலும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் அடியார் அவனைப் பிரார்த்தித்தவராக நின்றபோது, அவர்பால் அவர்கள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக (வந்து) நெருங்கிவிடுகின்றனர்."
"yet when the devotee of allah stands forth to invoke him, they just make round him a dense crowd."

(அதற்கு) அவர்கள், "நாங்கள் (பலசாலிகளான) ஒரு கூட்டமாக இருந்தும், அவரை ஓநாய் தின்று விடுமானால், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் நஷ்டவாளிகளாக ஆகியிருப்போம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
they said, "if a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers."
