ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சுங்கள்; (எந்நிலையிலும்) நேர்மையான சொல்லையே சொல்லுங்கள்.
believers, fear allah and speak the truth:

இந்த நபியின் மீது அல்லாஹ் அருள் புரிகிறான். மலக்குகளும் அவருக்காக அருளைத் தேடுகின்றனர். முஃமின்களே நீங்களும் அவர் மீது ஸலவாத்து சொல்லி அவர் மீது ஸலாமும் சொல்லுங்கள்.
allah sends his salat (graces, honours, blessings, mercy, etc.) on the prophet (muhammad saw) and also his angels too (ask allah to bless and forgive him). o you who believe! send your salat on (ask allah to bless) him (muhammad saw), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. assalamu 'alaikum).

"நீங்கள் இருவரும் அவனிடம் (சாந்தமாக) மென்மையான சொல்லால் சொல்லுங்கள், அதனால், அவன் நல்லுபதேசம் பெறலாம், அல்லது அச்சம் கொள்ளலாம்."
"and speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear allah."

"ஆகவே, நீங்கள் இருவரும் அவனிடம் சென்று: 'நாங்களிருவரும் உன்னுடைய இறைவனின் தூதர்கள், பனூ இஸ்ராயீல்களை எங்களுடன் அனுப்பி விடு, மேலும் அவர்களை வேதனை படுத்தாதே, திடனாக, நாங்கள் உன் இறைவனிடமிருந்து ஓர் அத்தாட்சியை உனக்குக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறோம், இன்னும் எவர் நேர் வழியைப் பின்பற்றுகிறாரோ அவர் மீது (சாந்தி) ஸலாம் உண்டாவதாக' என்று சொல்லுங்கள்" (என்று அல்லாஹ் கட்டளையிட்டான்).
"so go ye both to him, and say, 'verily we are messengers sent by thy lord: send forth, therefore, the children of israel with us, and afflict them not: with a sign, indeed, have we come from thy lord! and peace to all who follow guidance!
