and thou beholdest mankind entering the religion of allah in crowds,

ஆனால் நீர் அவர்களிடையே இருக்கும் வரையிலும் அல்லாஹ் அவர்களை வேதனை செய்ய மாட்டான்; மேலும் அவர்கள் பாவமன்னிப்பைக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போதும் அல்லாஹ் அவர்களை வேதனை செய்பவனாக இல்லை.
but allah will not punish them while you are in their midst, nor will allah punish them while they plead for forgiveness.

"என் இறைவா! என் மீது நீ அருள்புரிந்ததன் காரணமாக, நான் இனி ஒரு போதும் குற்றவாளிகளுக்கு உதவி செய்பவனாக இருக்க மாட்டேன்" என்று கூறினார்.
(moses) said: "o lord, as you have been gracious to me i will never aid the guilty."

"உன்னுடைய தோட்டத்தைவிட மேலானதை என் இறைவன் எனக்குத் தரவும் (உன் தோட்டத்தின் மீது) வானத்திலிருந்தும் இடிகளை அனுப்பி அதை அதனால் மழுமட்டையான திடலாக ஆக்கி விடவும் போதும்.
"it may be that my lord will give me something better than your garden, and will send on it husban (torment, bolt, etc.) from the sky, then it will be a slippery earth.

"நீ உன் புத்தகத்தைப் படித்துப் பார்! இன்று உனக்கு எதிராக உன்னுடைய ஆத்மாவே கணக்கதிகாரியாக இருக்கப் போதும்" (என்று அப்போது நாம் கூறுவோம்).
we will tell him, "read it and judge for yourself."

அவற்றை நீங்கள் மாலை நேரத்தில் (வீட்டுக்குத்) திரும்பி ஓட்டி வரும் போதும், காலை நேரத்தில் (மேய்ச்சலுக்காக) அவிழ்த்துவிடும் போதும், அவற்றில் உங்களுக்கு(ப் பொலிவும்) அழகுமிருக்கிறது.
and for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture].
