and he answered and said unto them, i will also ask you one thing; and answer me:

umoya onamandla ngaphezu kwezo nto uzela mna; ngoku nam ndiya kuthetha nabo imigwebo.
even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will i give sentence against them.

bona bandikhweletisa ngongethixo, bandiqumbisa ngamampunge abo. nam ndiya kubakhweletisa ngabangebantu, ndibaqumbise ngohlanga olunobudenge.
they have moved me to jealousy with that which is not god; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and i will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; i will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

ngoko uyehova makanenzele inceba nenyaniso; nam ndiya kunenzela oko kulungileyo, ngokuba nayenzayo loo nto.
and now the lord shew kindness and truth unto you: and i also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

nam ndiya kumenza oceliweyo kuyehova; yonke imihla yokubakho kwakhe, woba ngoceliweyo kuyehova. wamnqula khona uyehova.
therefore also i have lent him to the lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the lord. and he worshipped the lord there.

ngako oko, itsho inkosi uyehova ukuthi, yeha, mzindini unamagazi! nam ndiya kuyenza ibe nkulu imfumba yeenkuni.
therefore thus saith the lord god; woe to the bloody city! i will even make the pile for fire great.

nam ndiya kwenza ngobushushu; aliyi kuba nanceba iliso lam, ndibaconge; nokuba badanduluke ezindlebeni zam ngezwi elikhulu, andiyi kubeva.
therefore will i also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will i have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will i not hear them.

ngokuba waligcina ilizwi lomonde wam, nam ndiya kukugcina, ndikusindise kwilixa lokulingwa, eliza kuza phezu kwelimiweyo liphela, ukulinga abo bemiyo phezu kwehlabathi.
because thou hast kept the word of my patience, i also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

waphendula ke uyesu, wathi kubo, nam ndiya kunibuza zwi-nye, ze nindiphendule; ndonixelela ke, ukuba ndizenza ngagunya lini na ezi zinto.
and jesus answered and said unto them, i will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and i will tell you by what authority i do these things.

waphendula ke uyesu wathi kubo, nam ndiya kubuza kuni zwi-nye; endothi, ukuba nithe nandixelela lona, ndinixelele nam ukuba ndizenza ngagunya lini na ezi zinto:
and jesus answered and said unto them, i also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, i in like wise will tell you by what authority i do these things.

nam ndiya kwenza oku kuni: ndiya kunivelela ngento ekhwankqisayo, ngesifo sephepha, nangecesina ephelisa amehlo, eyethisa umphefumlo; nifumane nihlwayele imbewu yenu, idliwe ziintshaba zenu.
i also will do this unto you; i will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

ngako oko, itsho inkosi uyehova ukuthi, ndihleli nje, inyaniso, ngenxa enokuba ingcwele yam uyenze inqambi ngeento zakho zonke ezinezothe, nangamasikizi akho onke, nam ndiya kulisusa iliso lam, lingabi nanceba, ndingacongi nam.
wherefore, as i live, saith the lord god; surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will i also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will i have any pity.
