every door and opening window of the bodywork section shall be closed and latched but not locked.

belastningen ska påföras balken vid den tyngdpunkt i karosserisektionen som härleds ur vikterna av segment och de anslutningselement som förbinder dem.
the load shall be applied to the beam at the centre of gravity of the body section derived from the masses of its bays and the structural elements connecting them.

den lägsta energi som krävs för att upptas av karosserisektionen (emin) ska bestämmas enligt följande:
the minimum energy required to be absorbed by the body section (emin) shall be determined as follows:

the pendulum shall be released from such a height that it strikes the bodywork section at a speed of between 3 and 8 m/s.
