and aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

detta är lagen om brännoffret, spisoffret, syndoffret, skuldoffret, handfyllningsoffret och tackoffret,
this is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

den präst som offrar syndoffret skall äta det; på en helig plats skall det ätas, i förgården till uppenbarelsetältet.
the priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

och aron lyfte upp sina händer över folket och välsignade det. därefter steg han ned, sedan han hade offrat syndoffret, brännoffret och tackoffret.
and aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

det skall icke bakas med surdeg. detta är deras del, det som jag har givit dem av mina eldsoffer. det är högheligt likasom syndoffret och skuldoffret.
it shall not be baken with leaven. i have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.

därefter skall prästen offra syndoffret och bringa försoning för den som skall renas, så att han bliver fri ifrån sin orenhet; sedan skall han slakta brännoffersdjuret.
and the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

vad som gäller om syndoffret skall ock gälla om skuldoffret; samma lag skall gälla för dem båda. den präst som bringar försoning därmed, honom skall det tillhöra.
as the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.

tala till aron och hans söner och säg: detta är lagen om syndoffret: på samma plats där brännoffersdjuret slaktas skall ock syndoffersdjuret slaktas, inför herrens ansikte. det är högheligt.
speak unto aaron and to his sons, saying, this is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the lord: it is most holy.

»varför haven i icke ätit syndoffret på den heliga platsen? det är ju högheligt. och han har givit eder det, för att i skolen borttaga menighetens missgärning och bringa försoning för dem inför herrens ansikte.
wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and god hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the lord?

och han skall stänka något av syndoffrets blod på altarets vägg; men det övriga blodet skall utkramas vid foten av altaret. det är ett syndoffer.
and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
